A 15 minute exercise before you buy another AI tool
Most business owners I talk to have 5+ AI subscriptions and still do the same repetitive work every week. The problem usually isn't the tool, it's that nobody picked the right task first. Try this: 1. Write down everything you did last week that you also did the week before. Replying to the same questions, copying details from emails into a sheet, chasing quotes or invoices, writing similar posts. 2. Next to each one, write roughly how many minutes it takes per week. 3. Circle the ones that follow the same steps every time. Those are your automation candidates. Tasks that need your judgement every time are not (yet). 4. Pick ONE: the circled task with the most minutes. Automate only that, and run it for two weeks before touching anything else. One task done properly usually saves more time than five tools half set up. Curious what lands on top for you. Drop your number one repetitive task below and I'll suggest how I'd approach it.

@Thomas Dvorak same here, the list usually surprises people. The "clicks" moment tends to come once they see one task done end to end, then they start spotting the rest themselves. What's the most common one that shows up in your audits?

@Jared Latigo exactly. A tool can only speed up a process that already exists. If nobody knows which task eats the hours, the new subscription just becomes one more tab. Thanks Jared!
Finance Dashboard
Hey everyone! I am a sole entrepreneur growing a co-hosting business. I am excited to try out the finance dashboard -for personal and business! Does anyone know how many bank account I dare try to connect? we have a different bank account for each property (LLC). Definitely over 10 on the business side. Thanks for the insights!

With one account per property, I'd connect 2 or 3 first and check the categories come through cleanly before adding the rest. The thing that saves the most time later is mapping each account to its property from day one, so every transaction lands under the right LLC automatically and you get a per-property P&L instead of one big pile. Bank connectors sometimes cap the number of linked accounts per login, so worth checking that before you connect all 10+.
Need help
Hiring: Social Media & AI Funnel Assistant (Compensated Position). I'm looking for someone to work with me on social media automation and content — especially using Blotato for scheduling, posting, and editing — plus someone comfortable with AI tools and marketing funnels. This is a paid, compensated role. If you have experience with social media automation, video/content editing, and AI-driven systems, send me a message and let's talk."

Hi Virginia, we set up exactly this kind of system: Blotato scheduling and posting fed from a content calendar, AI drafts and edits for your approval, and the funnel connected behind it. Instead of you managing it daily, it runs on its own once it's built. Sending you a DM with a few quick questions.
Not every automation needs AI.
I build automation systems, and one thing I’ve learned is that adding AI doesn’t automatically make a workflow better. If a lead submits a form → create the contact → assign the opportunity → send a reminder… That doesn’t need AI. It needs reliable automation. AI becomes useful when the system actually needs to understand something: classify an inquiry, summarize a conversation, extract information, personalize a response, or decide where something should go. Sometimes the smartest AI system is the one that knows where not to use AI. Where have you found AI genuinely improved an automation instead of just making it more complicated?

Fully agree. Our rule of thumb: if the input is structured, use plain automation. AI earns its place when the input is messy, like reading a free text WhatsApp order or an email and turning it into clean data. That one step often unlocks the rest of the workflow.
Chat GPT or Claude
I have both subscriptions, but I have invested in Chat GPT £90 per month and Claude currently at £15. I got Apollo and Metrcool, set up and am running a campaign. Am i on th3 right track - All done through chat gpt.

You're on the right track, Carl. The tool matters less than the process: clear ICP, a short personalised first line and a follow up sequence. Both work well; many people use Claude for longer copy and reasoning and ChatGPT for quick drafts. Worth tracking reply rate per campaign so you know what's actually working.
