In a world that never stops moving, salah is where everything slows down. No noise, no rush, just you and Allah. When the heart is heavy, sujood lightens it. When the mind is restless, prayer brings it back to calm. Nothing else comforts the soul the way those few quiet minutes do.

There’s a concept in Islam that has always moved me deeply, Allah swt is to you as you see Him. It comes from the 15th Hadith Qudsi where Allah says: “I am as My servant thinks of Me.”(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim) If we think good of Allah swt, if we believe He is merciful, kind, giving and close, Allah becomes those things. We start to look at life differently. Every delay becomes meaningful and every test becomes manageable If we think badly of Allah swt, if we imagine him being angry, always punishing us, distant, then every blessing and prayer feels like a burden. So yes Allah is who we see him as and determines what how the heart truly sees everything else.
