So I was overthinking this. I was able to open the transcript Use a Virginia Copy cert. I did NOT need his signature The copy cert verbiage had to say me as the notary is acknowledging that this is TRUE COPY. Which made me think am I Notarizing my own signature.... SOS said nope send it in. So with that being said this job is complete and my fee for this was $595.00 as I had to request transcripts and had to a mobile notary to him in Oregon for his ID. Then he said I have 6 other MD that need their transcripts done can I send them to you? Absolutely!!

I was able to get back into field inspections yesterday with my first one in my new city of residence (my old home state of Ohio). I know it’s not notary related but it’s along that same line as I received the order through the website notary dash through their online portal . And I will be applying with the OH Secretary of State soon to get my notary license again in Ohio after getting my BCI done recently and finishing up the class. It’s still going to take me some time before I get out there again as a full fledged notary public due to still learning the laws of the state. But I’m still pushing where I can. I also listened to a reverse mortgage webinar from this person who dubs themselves as the “notary coach” recently through another platform. They were talking about people becoming certified in becoming a reverse mortgage notary (I forgot the exact certification but I can look this up sometime later) . Is there some way we can add that type of class to this community in the future. Just a suggestion but I understand if it might not be able to be accommodated.

If u are part of RBA you know the While Label dropped. (If you don’t know it’s okay) That girl said $197 for White Label License Put the direct link. We bought it (I was always buying it knowing it was not gonna be white label) and it’s a link 🔗 to a plain RBA can’t be duplicated or revised. Just plan black and white words that are useless as we own the actual RBA. Then you find out AFTER you spend the $197 on the white label that is NOT white label. You need to upgrade to the $1200 option and that’s where you get the White Label. Yooooooo you got a bunch of people for $200 and whew baby they are PISSED 😡 I KNEW IT WAS SOME FOOLISHNESS BUT I COULDNT SAY IT TILL I PURCHASED IT AND SAW FOR MYSELF I feel bad for those people. It was definitely misleading. So if you are here and you are part of RBA I don’t suggest purchasing the $197 white label it’s just a link. If you’re here I don’t suggest spending the $1200 either as RBA is already established and you putting a new cover on something that already exists is like taking a shower and putting on dirty clothes!

My why for this mentorship and for me establishing my notary business is to create more income for myself on the side and maybe full time income in the future and have a skill on the side that is recession/sickness/AI proof because in these days in times you need to have skills that cannot be easily replicated by technology as with being a notary you have to be a human. I have been a licensed notary for the past 3 years in the state of Pennslyvania but was not gaining a lot of traction in gaining business and I even used thumbtack but I was paying more fees for clients then receiving more return on investment as some of the clients would back out due to not wanting to pay my fees or not being sure about whelther or not they wanted to hire me even though I had great reviews of my services but my reviews were still very few. But besides that I have been able to make a little bit of money on the side from doing this business and doing field inspections but not as much as I would like. So now I am in the process of starting over in the state of Ohio after deciding to move back home to Cleveland to be closer to my family after 3 years of living in Pittsburgh PA due to a failed relationship. A few years ago I was referred to get into this industry by another business teacher who told me about their path about being a notary on the side while working their other job as a financial consultant and I have been on this journey ever since which also helped me to get into this. So I am greatful to Ms. Locke for having this program so I can learn how to be a better notary and businesswoman especially when it comes to marketing for my business and doing the notarial acts better.
