@Jessica Disciacca part of my brand is fantasy renaissance. It also fits my business and book series. I own a business that is heavily based around medieval times, renaissance, TTRPG, pagan, and cosplay overall.

🖤✨ Get to Know Me + Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone, and welcome—I am so truly glad you’re here. 🖤 I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and also invite you to share your story, because this space is not just about learning—it’s about connection, growth, and building something meaningful together. My name is Jessica Ann Disciacca, and I’m a dark fantasy author, world-builder, and the co-founder of Dark Flame Society, where I create immersive literary events and opportunities that support authors, artists, and creatives. My writing journey began back in high school, but I officially wrote my first book in 2019 called The Morn Series. That first draft came in at over 350,000 words (yes… it was a lot 😅), and I remember feeling completely overwhelmed by the editing process. Instead of pushing through, I set it aside and started something new—Awakening the Dark Throne. I wrote that book in just two weeks, and in 2024 it was picked up by a publisher. While that experience taught me so much, I quickly realized that traditional publishing—at least with certain publishers—wasn’t the right fit for me. That’s when I fully stepped into the indie author world. From there, I dove in completely. I took classes, studied everything I could, learned through trial and error, and built my process from the ground up. My first year, I published four books. My second year, two more—and this year, I’m publishing my seventh. Now, my passion is helping other authors navigate this journey with more clarity, confidence, and support than I had in the beginning. Through my books, events, and communities like this one, my goal is simple:👉 to help you grow, be seen, and succeed as an author. ✨ Now it’s your turn… I would love to get to know you! Drop a comment below and share: 📖 What are you currently working on? ✍️ Are you writing your first book or have you already published? 🔥 What genre do you write in? 🎯 What is your biggest goal as an author right now? 💭 What is one thing you’re currently struggling with or want to learn?

Thank you for the invite! To start off with my name is A.P. Whitfield the author of The Return of Merlin Series. I’m a dark fantasy/romance and mystery author. I published my first book back in 2019 and 6 months later I published the second book. I have five books published thus far with many more in the works and a couple of books coming out this year. I knew I wanted to be an author back in grade school. I had a love of writing and would love to write stories and poetry when I was very young. It carried over into every grade and new chapter in my life. When I finally decided to make my little 7 year old self happy and have our dream come true to publish my first book I was terrified and thrilled at the same time. It has been a learning experience and I’ve had a lot of drastic improvements along my journey. I’ve put a lot of my life expenses in my books that have helped myself and readers be able to be emotionally invested and relate to many of the characters and the trauma they experience. I’m also an artist and do all the art for my books that I write. I’ve always loved art and wanted to be as involved with what I work on and create. I knew drawing my own art and designing my book covers my series was something I wanted to do. I wanted to take advantage of my talents and apply them in my work. I own a business that is Pagan fantasy based. We design a lot of items for TTRPG and items that can be used at Renaissance Festivals. Along with those we have items for those that practice in the craft. It’s a joy to be able to tie my books in with what all I do. I’m a massive cosplayer and nerd. I’m sure the TTRPG gave that away haha. I love to go to event I can dress up for. What I would love to know is what other conventions would be great for authors to set up at. If anyone know of places for authors like us I would greatly appreciate any suggestions and information. I’m sure there is more I could say if my brain could focus but if anyone wants to know more about me please feel free to ask. I’m happy to answer questions.
