Welcome to The Hitmakers Circle!
Welcome to The Hitmakers Circle! I'm so glad you're here. Whether you're writing your very first song or you've been making music for years, you've joined a community of people who share one common goal: writing better songs and growing together as artists, songwriters, and producers. Over the coming weeks and months, I'll be adding new courses, live Q&A sessions, songwriting challenges, production breakdowns, industry insights, and behind-the-scenes looks at my own writing process. My goal is to share the techniques, lessons, successes, and failures I've experienced during more than 30 years in the music industry. This isn't just a place to watch videos. It's a place to ask questions, share your music, receive constructive feedback, collaborate with other members, and continue growing as a songwriter. Let's get to know each other! Please introduce yourself by telling us: - Your name and where you're from - What instruments you play (if any) - Your favourite style of music - How long you've been writing songs - One songwriting goal you'd love to achieve this year - If you could co-write with any artist or songwriter, who would it be? Don't worry if you're just getting started. Every professional songwriter was once a beginner, and everyone here is at a different stage of their journey. I encourage you to jump into the conversations, support one another, and never be afraid to ask questions. Some of the best lessons come from simply being part of the discussion. Thanks for being here. I can't wait to hear your music. Rob

Hi everyone! I’m Anya, from Germany. I play piano and guitar, and I’m definitely a pop girl at heart, but I also love folk and indie music. I’ve been writing songs for what feels like forever, but I started releasing my own songs during Covid, which really pushed me to take songwriting more seriously. One of my biggest goals this year is to finish songs more frequently instead of leaving them half-finished. I also really want to step more into producing (working with logic) and learn how to bring my ideas to life from start to finish. If I could co-write with any artist, it would probably be Olivia Rodrigo. I absolutely love the way she tells stories through her songs and how strong and honest her lyrics are. I’d love to see what we could create together! Having a group of people to connect with, share ideas with, and check in with is exactly what I feel like I need right now. Thanks so much @Rob Wells for this amazing opportunity — I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone and having a space that makes me feel like a student again!
