"Since November of last year, at Espaço Arco Íris, in Columbófila, Caldas da Rainha, the “Portuguese Reading Club” is an idea by Dina Guibá, carried out together with the student Robert Schifreen, and is an extension of the “Portuguese Language Café”, which has been running in the same space since February 2025. The “Portuguese Language Café” is a club that works for all foreigners who want to learn the Portuguese language and are at the beginning of their journey or already advanced (A1-B1). The “Portuguese Reading Club” is designed for foreigners who already speak Portuguese well (B1-B2) and simply want to improve their skills. Olá, bom dia! Tudo bem? It's another week and another chance to speak Portuguese NOW, TODAY! I notice a lot of people are joining and saying they want to speak Portuguese (and you may well be) BUT I'm not seeing much evidence of it here! This Monday morning post, and every daily post, is the chance for you to say what you want to say, who you want to say it to, and where you're going to be saying it. New people: Let's hear from you 😘 For example: I've been in touch with community member @Bob Wenger in the last few days and Bob mentioned that he will be joining, as he does every year, one of the wine harvests in his locality - 'The Vindima'. What better way to learn Portuguese, learn more about the culture, and drink some wine, than getting involved in the Vindima? Learning a bit of vocabulary, getting out there, showing up, winging it, adapting, talking - SWAT-ing your way into the vineyard?! The wine harvest module is ready for you here Whether you're grape picking today, or this week, or not, what are you doing when it comes to SPEAKING Portuguese, and what help do you need?
