My name is Anton and I'm from Russia. I'm 26 years old and my crown is noticeably thinner than the rest of my hair. I first noticed thinning about a year ago but funny enough, didn't think much of it😂 I was so clueless about balding in general and never even thought it was possible to start balding at this age. Sure, I've heard before about people that went bald by 25-30 but I thought that was extremely rare and it didn't even cross my mind in the slightest that I could be one of them, because also in my family on both sides no one was balding at this age and for a long long time onward. So I thought about my crown thinning as just some weird thing that will go away🤣🤣 By the time when I first noticed it I had been living in the south of Turkey for almost a year and I thought, well, maybe it's hot and humid Mediterranean climate, maybe it's the local diet... Maybe it'll normalize on its own when I go back to my natural habitat😁 Spoiler alert: it didn't. I wasn't paying much attention to it the next 9 months after going back home and didn't take any action. Can't really tell if it got worse or not during this time. Only sometimes I would glance at it to see if it's still there and when of course it wasn't improving after all this time I went on Reddit to see what the hell it was all about😠 and holy moly.. I'M BALDING!!!😱😱😱 So in May this year after reading many stories about people going bald and that it's a quite common age for people to start balding and many people start even way before that...I finally realized what I'm in for and that's when I started sounding the alarm🚨 Long story short, now I'm here. I'm not quite sure which Norwood I am because judging by old photos my hairline didn't change, I always had it like this. Only my crown is thinning, so in the welcome form I chose 3 because of it but my hairline doesn't look like 3 I think. Also a few years ago I looked at my photo when I was little(maybe 10 years old) and I was surprised to see that my hair was so dense and looked much thicker and darker. I never even knew I had such hair. I would kill to have that hair now😩 It changed over time and then I had just normal mediocre hair. I don't know why it changed but no signs of balding until about 2 years ago.
