2 contributions to The Creative Reset Circle
New Insights
Some people have spent their whole lives trying to belong by performing, proving, pleasing, shrinking, competing, or surviving hierarchy games. I’m no longer interested in building spaces like that. The Creative Reset Circle is being built on different values: Belong without humiliation Connect without performance Be respected without hierarchy games No cliques. No emotional power plays. No tearing people down to feel superior. No “earn your worth” culture. Just real humans learning how to come back to themselves after carrying too much for too long. I believe people create, heal, and grow far better in environments where they feel emotionally safe, respected, and seen. That doesn’t mean there are no boundaries. In fact, strong boundaries protect good communities. Kindness matters here. Respect matters here. Emotional maturity matters here. And I will never again normalize cruelty disguised as confidence, status, leadership, or “just how people are.” You do not have to perform to belong. — Janice Webber

Lovely.
This picture pretty much sums it up.
Apparently I was supposed to just: let go of the past, set better boundaries, know my worth and everything would magically work itself out. Meanwhile my system was like: Cool. Love that plan. But we’re still holding tension in the shoulders, overcommitting by Tuesday, and undercharging by Friday! So instead, I stopped trying to fix everything at the mindset leveland started paying attention to what my system could actually handle. Took me a while to figure that one out. Turns out: When you stop abandoning yourself in small ways, A lot of things do start to shift. Not magically. Just a little less chaos,a little more clarity, and a lot more of that Oh, that makes sense. It turns out, when you start with calm, clarity comes back, capacity builds, and creative flow isn’t so hard to find.
This picture pretty much sums it up.
