A Somatic Reset for a calmer Christmas
Christmas can be a joyful time, and it can also quietly activate stress in the body. Even when everything looks fine on the outside, the nervous system may be holding tension through tight jaws, lifted shoulders or shallow breathing. I have uploaded a one page worksheet called Somatic Reset for a Calmer Christmas to support you through the festive season. This is not about fixing yourself or adding another thing to your to do list. It is about slowing down just enough to notice what your body needs and responding with kindness. Somatic practices work by helping the body feel safe. When the body settles, the mind naturally follows. These gentle exercises can be used anywhere, at the kitchen table, before family gatherings or at the end of the day. I invite you to download the worksheet and choose just one practice to use this week. Thirty to sixty seconds is enough to create a shift.
