Hint Step 1: Radius - The center lies on the y-axis, so its coordinates are (0, k) - The circle is tangent to the vertical line x = 10. - The horizontal distance from the center (0, k) to the line (x = 10) gives the radius: - r=10-0=10 Step 2: Plug in the x and y values form (x - 0)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2 Then solve for k.
Anyone tried PsychSAT yet?
Have you guys heard of psychsat.com? I stumbled across it while looking for free SAT tools. Supposedly it's completely free and has a bunch of Bluebook-style practice questions, adaptive drills, and mistake tracking with no paywall. It almost seems too good to be true, so I wanted to see if anyone in here has actually used it yet? Are the question types pretty accurate to the real College Board stuff, or is it hit or miss?

So far so good, though.

@Larry W Valid concern. I always use a secondary email and a random password whenever I try out new study tools. as long as it's not asking for credit card info or personal stuff, there’s not really much to steal, but definitely better safe than sorry

I'm relying on regression too much...
NotebookLM: Y or N?
Hey guys wondering if anyone here has tried using Google’s NotebookLM to study for the SAT? My free trial for another prep app is ending soon, and I’ve been looking into free alternatives so I don't have to spend any of money. NotebookLM actually seems decent for this since it only uses the files you upload to it which you means can just drop in your own error logs, past Bluebook questions, or Desmos tricks, and it won't hallucinate fake rules like ChatGPT sometimes does. Anyone else messing around with it, or are you guys mostly using Bluebook/Khan Academy?
