Hello everyone! I'm just getting started again so I'm excited to be a part of the community. I went to filmmaking school 20 years ago in Cali but dropped out after 1 semester because I ran out of money. Now that I have more time that I can dedicate to cinematography/DP work, I'm all in. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio but I've been living in Jacksonville, FL for the last 15 years. Over the past year I've been getting more involved with the local film community, working on sets, writing shorts, and putting in reps behind the camera. Right now, I'm focused on building a strong foundation in lighting, composition and visual storytelling will shooting a series of short films (mostly psychological thriller/horror, drama and tension driven pieces). My goal is to grow as both a director and DP, develop a clean visual style and continue leveling up through hands on experience and collaboration. Currently shooting on a Sony a7s3 and aperture lights. After I film 4-5 shorts I plan on investing in a Red Komodo. Looking forward to learning from you all, connecting and improving.
