Hi all — I’m Ann. I’ve spent most of my life being the “strong one.” Early responsibility, a lot of loss, a lot of holding things together. I learned to be capable fast being the only girl and the youngest of 5 kids. I also learned to be loud when I felt unsafe…and to survive in a mans world workforce. For years I mistook control, productivity, and strength for security. Motherhood started to change that for me. Not in a cute highlight-reel way — more in a “oh… this is what fear really feels like” way. When health challenges started showing up in my home, it pushed me deeper into understanding my own nervous system, my reactions, my patterns. I started noticing the small moments. How quickly my tone shifted when I felt tired, and exhausted. How fast I moved to fix instead of listen. Including speaking for people around me. How often I was bracing without realizing it. That’s really the heart of the work I do now. Calm power, Micro-momentum shifts for long term impact. I’m really glad to be here and to connect with other people who care about growth and doing this work in real life, not just in theory.
