Hey yall, I’m taking my friends proposal pictures this weekend and I’m super nervous because I haven’t done anything like this yet! Anyone have any tips for me? It’s at 3:30pm and it’ll be shaded by a fire pit at a lake house.

Hey y'all! I've been trying to take more pictures and practice editing them the past few weeks and I've had some trouble figuring out lighting - while taking photos and while editing. It's just looking so harsh. Especially at the beach where there is no shade. I'm also having trouble getting the color of my photos how I want. There are a lot of blues that don't look very natural. I am new to learning about tone curve and messing with the color circles.
