May's Quest: The Conversation
Most people think they’re reading the cards. They’re not. They’re pulling ... interpreting ... and then waiting for confirmation. That’s not a conversation. That’s distance. For those of you ready to go further, we’re stepping into something different this month. The Conversation. The cards are already speaking. The question is whether you’re actually in it. Not observing it. Not softening it. Not reshaping it into something more comfortable. Responding to it. Over the next four weeks, you’re not going to learn more meanings. You’re going to: - Hear how your deck actually speaks - Feel where it pushes you - Understand what it’s truly useful for - And decide the standard you’re willing to hold when you read This is where reading stops being interpretive and starts becoming relational. This isn’t for everyone. If you’re still looking for the “right” meaning - if you want reassurance more than responsibility - stay with the Adventure. That’s what it’s there for. But if you’re ready to stop hovering at the surface - you’re invited in. We begin with tone. Not what the card means but how your deck actually speaks to you. You’ll see very quickly whether you’ve been listening - or just translating. This is available for Level 2+ members. If you already know you’re stepping in, you don’t need to overthink it. Enter the space and begin.

Sounds fabulous Angela, I love this approach! I've been very curious about my intuition and ability to identify and interpret both intuition and energy 😊 I'm in and would love to converse with my deck from this direction but the part about deciding which standard I'm willing to hold is not entirely clear to me. I can definitely start with those first three, listen, feel and understand 💟
Adventure Check-In
For those quietly walking with the April Adventure right now. The ones who are sitting with it. Thinking about it. Maybe even avoiding parts of it. You are at a choice point: stay in observation or step into the work. Because this space doesn’t deepen through watching. It deepens when you let yourself be seen inside it. You don’t need a full interpretation. You don’t need to “get it right.” Just this: What has been uncomfortable, surprising, or harder to ignore since you started … and what have you done with that? That’s enough. Drop it in the comments if you’re willing. Not for performance - for presence. I’m paying attention.

I had moments where I found myself leaning on or orienting to the queen of pentacles, doing things that felt aligned, where I loosened my tight grip on various stuff - my narrative, my reactions, my judgment. I think the key to my experience with her so far is ease, she holds the pentacle with ease, she reigns easily, she's taking it easy. She can hear and see many things happening in the valley without any expectation or tension. 🤔🤔🤔 She's enjoying it, she's enjoying the pentacle, flowers, fruit, the light, the breeze...

@Angela Olah Such a different experience, it feels less like trying to understand a message and more like putting the card on, like a jacket or hat and wearing it out in the world. Or a crown 😋👑 I have a practice deck with keywords and I wrote "trust the work, take it easy, enjoy" And the month isn't even over!
Week 1 is live:
The first post for this month’s Quest has been released and is ready for you. This is where we begin. Not with perfection. Not with certainty. With attention. You’ll find the Week 1 prompt here: https://www.skool.com/the-crones-tarot-9034/classroom/fd6c7502?md=e29eb2de1bfa4acea272a27736791595 Take your time with it. Don’t rush to answer. Sit with the card. Notice what comes up before you try to make sense of it. There’s no performance here. Only participation. When you’re ready, share your reflection in the thread. Let’s begin.

@Angela Olah The energy I feel from her is warm and compassionate, but phenomenally unbothered... I sat with it a lot and notice that I am working on ecpanding my heart center, I am warmer, I am more compassionate AND I'm quite bothered, especially with people behaving wirh less compassion. 1. That's silly. I was also behaving similarly not that long ago. 2. Being less bothered also means less energy invested in expectations of others, stories of how thoughs should be unfolding. Giving more capacity for promoting and tending life-affirming energies as well as hope. 3. Unbothered energy is not callous or harsh, not detached. It is protecting from the fallout caused by investing in stories that confuse what is essential and what is ego noise...

@Angela Olah 😅 I do want explanations for everything. I'm a bit obsessed with understanding and the how and why. Unbotheredness reminds me of practicing non-attachment to outcomes like in Buddhism. Radical acceptance of what is. "Being bothered" might be a script, a story I've made up. It's automatic but it's possible to practice discarding it. And being bothered by some things is compassionate and right so discerning what to allow to bother me seems healthier.
Week 2 Quest is now live.
This is where we shift. Week 1 asked you to notice what you gravitate toward - your preferences, your comfort, your patterns of liking and avoiding. Week 2 is different. Now we start looking at what you don’t immediately understand … and what you usually do in response. Do you skip it? Do you label it as “not your card”? Do you rush past it to find something that feels clearer? This week isn’t about getting it “right.” It’s about staying with the card long enough to let something real emerge. You are building capacity here - not just interpretation. Because the truth is … your accuracy will only ever go as far as your willingness to sit with what doesn’t resolve quickly. Inside this week’s prompt, you’ll be asked to: - Stay with the same card you chose in Week 1 - Notice where your attention drops off or your certainty fades - Track what actually shifts when you don’t rush to certainty There is no performance here. There is no gold star for being “good” at this. There is only the work of staying. If you completed Week 1, carry that awareness forward. If you didn’t, you can still begin here - but understand that each step builds on the last. When you’re ready, begin. And when you notice yourself wanting to move on too quickly … stay a little longer.

This is a tough one. You're not pulling any punches, Angela! 😆 Coming back to this but I do wonder at the view behind the queen of pentacles, the valley, the mountains. Other than ascribing some weight and anchoring to the mountains I've resisted taking the time to see what the vista brings up for me although now I'm curious. What's down there in the valley?
Check In
Take a moment to check in with your card. No need to overthink this. Just share what you’re noticing: - What stood out today? - What felt the same as before? - What felt different, even slightly? If nothing felt clear, include that too. Staying when nothing is obvious is part of the work. Keep it simple. One or two honest observations is enough.

@Mariah Etheridge Thanks for adding the picture! Both she and the landscape feel serene. Is that a sunrise or sunset in the background?

@Angela Olah At first I'm jealous of how grounded she is because I feel like a leaf heading to the edge of a waterfall these days. And I know that jealousy is a signpost to direct me towards what I desire. It's no shock that I want to stop the onslaught of information that keeps destabilizing me on the daily. Instinctively, gathering more information feels protective. I do see the balancing opportunity here and it's not to stop the external info feed. Pause maybe. Reduce the volume. I'm often tempted to drink from the digital firehose when faced with uncertainty - for a variety of reasons! It gives me an illusion of participation and control but ultimately the aspect of the situation I might truly control is the allocation of my internal ressources; time, attention, energy, and vibration. 🤔
