A ot of people ask me why I keep Sabbath and if I’m Jewish or a Seventh-day Adventist. The truth is I’m neither. I simply follow what I believe the Scriptures teach. In Book of Genesis 1:14–18, it says the sun, moon, and stars were given to measure the days, seasons, and appointed times. This is why I study the biblical calendar and even ancient writings like the Book of Enoch. The Sabbath doesn’t always fall on the same Gregorian calendar day, and it actually shifts during the year. Small steps, messy starts, and slow growth still matter. In fact, they’re worth celebrating. The world often praises huge results, but this verse celebrates simply starting. Motivation for your week: - The small effort you make today counts. - The habit you start this week matters. - Even if it feels insignificant now, it’s still the beginning of something meaningful. - Sometimes the most spiritual kind of courage is just showing up again tomorrow.
