I can’t rank up.
I hate Middle East silvers. They play like grand golds. Like if I go EU silver they are actual silvers, the problem is I get 230 ping on eu rarely 110. So I’m stuck between deranking from silver 2 and ranking up to silver 2 So silver 2 between silver 1. Yes I solo queue. And my friends are grand plats and diamonds so I lose when I Q up with them.

I had a similar problem with gold. It's really unfortunate but there isn't much you can do about it, other than maybe find a teammate that will play ranked with you, and just work hard to get past it. The other thing is that lower ranks usually display problem habits like overcommitting, etc. So pay attention and learn how to take advantage of them.

Hi, and welcome
Hello!
Hello! I haven't been on this for a while, but I'm back! So, I was just up in Plat 1, but I just deranked to gold. I have no idea why. I know how to rotate back post, I don't ballchase and am a pretty passive player, and I know how to half flip and do other recovery mechanics. Could anyone help?

So I used to keep dropping back into gold ALL the time. And then of course it was really hard to get back to plat. Anyway, I think the one thing that has helped me maintain plat this whole season is recoveries, and proper rotations. I am also generally very passive so I end up sitting back a lot, but a big part of rotating is taking your turn at the ball and trusting your teammate to handle defense and finish your passes. It can be hard, especially if your teammate is trash lol, but keep pushing. Take control of the ball, and do something with it! Sometimes you just have to be more aggressive. One other thing - remember to spend more time in casuals than ranked. I used to do practically all my games in ranked and that was a bad choice. And never play ranked on bad days. Play a few casuals first, and if you are doing badly, stay away from ranked for the day, and try again the next day. Casuals will get you the experience you need without your rank suffering.
Plat 2
I’m plat 2 and a player who is way worse than me (I beat him every time in 1v1 and 2v2s) is a diamond 1. How can I get to diamond one without learning any new mechanics (speed flip, that sort of stuff) I already know half flip

So what I've figured out is that learning mechs like the speed flip, or the wave dash, etc. will speed up you ranking up, especially in high plat to low diamond ranks. But if you want to rank up without learning any mechs, I would definitely focus on learning things like rotations, fast ariels (which is technically a mech I guess but is a game changer), and defense. Defense is super important and if you're good enough try working on shadow defense. The other thing is really getting a sense of when to commit. Too often Plats just yeet into the ball with no concern for where their teammate is or how much boost they have or whether it's actually a good idea. Not saying you do since I haven't seen you play, but being just under plat 2 myself I see it being done (and unfortunately do it) way too often. And one last thing - recoveries! Practicing making recoveries from ariels, 50s, wall shots, and other things really made a BIG difference for me. Hope this helps!

@Howie Appleby Good luck! I found one of the best ways to learn rotations is (if you are using VC) to call out when you rotate, and eventually you won't have to, but it helps in the early stages. If you are solo queuing with no VC, that is a bit more challenging

i have a Question am i gonna be trained In Rocket League on videos or a play with luke's team Cause if its on videos am out of GCB

There are videos, along with this section where you can ask questions related to rocket league that you need help with. If you get enough likes on your posts you can eventually get a training session with Luke. Sometimes Coach Curtis will host private games including himself and a few others. These aren't coaching sessions though, just fun games to play with a high ranked player.
