Using PMI Study Hall and Exam Simulator
Hi, I'm taking my PMP on Friday and using both Andrew's Exam Simulator as well as PMI Study Hall for practice. I am getting only around 70% on the Study Hall exams but in the 80s on the Exam Simulator. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like the wrong answers I got on the PMI Study Hall questions are mostly explained by Andrew's mindset, but I have a harder time applying the mindset on those questions given the way they are written. It's making me nervous for the real exam. Any advice is appreciated!

@Nehemiah Fensuah I only used the practice questions and tests because I had less than two weeks to be ready for my exam by the time I got it scheduled. There are a lot of other study features I would have used if I had more time.

@Pooja S the Study Hall doesn’t have a time limit but they will charge you an auto renewal subscription fee, I believe it’s $50 every three months, until you pass the exam. When you’re certified they will disable the auto renewal feature. I thought the TIA simulator was good for six months? But I could be wrong. In any case I found the TIA platform to be a better place to start with the way the questions were written. The Study Hall was more challenging and I was glad I’d gotten some experience in TIA first before using Study Hall.
Passed PMP above target!
I was honestly scared that I did not pass; I ran short on time and had to go very rapidly through the last 20-30 questions, where my preferred approach was to carefully eliminate answers and choose the best one. There were a few questions I was unable to answer except by picking a random guess. And I was thrown off by being told to wait for results, which I found out later is normal if you test at home but I didn't know that. All that said--I was above target in the People and Process, and at target in Business Environment. Thank you Andrew for your excellent teaching and test prep! I heard in my head so many times...."if the answer seems negative, it's not the right answer" and "don't do nothing." Very excited to have met this goal after three months of study!
No results at end of exam
I just finished my exam, and instead of getting an immediate pass or fail result at the end, I got a message that I would get an email within 48 hours with the results for some kind of security reason. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it some kind of random audit? I thought that results were supposed to be instantaneous.

Passed the PMP Exam: AT/AT/AT
I'm really happy to share that I passed my PMP exam on the first try, yesterday. Huge thanks to AR! Most of my questions (about 95%) were situational and focused on Agile and Hybrid. There were also a few drag-and-drop questions, with no calculations (funny enough). Thanks to @Jay Nimpson for the study groups and to everyone who supported me. I finished AR's course on Udemy, but I couldn't afford the TIA simulator or Study Hall. So, I used free resources like DM’s videos, MR’s videos, and short clips from PMAspirants. Thank you so much @Gina Kisner Here’s a tip that helped me manage time during the exam: “Make time your friend.” The exam is a long 180 questions in 230 minutes. I suggest taking the 10-minute break after each section to avoid getting too tired. Try to finish each set of questions in about 76 minutes: - First 60 questions by 156 minutes left - Second set by 78 minutes left This way, you’ll have enough time to finish the last set and review your answers on the last set before time runs out. Hope this helps someone! 😊 You've got this!

I'm taking my test on Friday and this is encouraging, thank you! I've been working primarily on my exam stamina and how to pull key information out of the questions and assess answers quickly, sounds like that tracks with your advice on time management. Congratulations on passing your first attempt!
PMP Passed
I passed it yesterday in first attempt ( AT/T/AT). TY all for sharing your knowledge. I studied 35 hour course from percipio then enrolled to study hall, practiced their and gave 5 mock exams ( 3 also will work). Watched AR and DavidM's youtube videos. Study hall is way difficult, exam questions are not that difficult. The youtube video of AR and DM are great and ofocusre mindset helps.

I am finding study hall questions very difficult too, glad to hear the real exam is not that hard. Congratulations!
