What fire am I seeking? I want a pen and paper place to explore all I am becoming as I age. I'm seeking the type of fire that keeps me open to my truth. I know they say aging isn't for the weak, and it's 100% true. I know my path is narrowing, but I want to keep it filled with continued growth and riches. The kind of simple riches that come from holding my big ass dog in the middle of the day because his dream is to be a lap dog. The riches of finding an exercise routine that helps my body feel more fluid. There is a certain fire I'm seeking, one that comes from long talks with my love about how we are both in different stages of our lives and what we need to understand about those stages so we can support each other as best we can. I'm seeking to accept my physical limitations, but not to surrender to them. I keep moving, but I need to move more. My truth and the fire I'm drawn to are the path of continued growth, even if it's narrowing a little bit.
