i had a lovely walk at our local castle! Did you get time outside?

Hello, Createpreneurs! It's my birthday today... and I've dedicated today to creativity. It's been a beautiful day of flow! I used to like to go out or have big birthday celebrations... but now I crave special times with loved ones, beautiful conversations with a few friends, adventures in nature that fill up my soul, and time dedicated to creativity. I have gone from a very large to a very small circle of people around me. In this past year, my hubby and I decluttered most of our things. We sold our dream home, on a beach. We packed up our beautiful bookstore, and said goodby to our beautiful community. We went from a very large circle of friends to a very small circle. All to build a firm foundation for our family that fit our family life. Our son was in a deep stage of burnout at this time last year. After months of seeing him struggle, we knew that we needed to make BIG changes to simplify our life... we knew that we would have to step out in faith. And we also felt, deeply, that it would be worth giving up everything to have our son back. And it was! We traded one dream for another. We are living on a beautiful island. We went from burnout to a life that fills our cups and rejuvenates our souls. Our son is THRIVING. And so are we! I am so incredibly proud of what we accomplished in this year. It took such a deep trust to give up what we knew and what had spent years building, all for the energetic pull in our hearts. But I knew, from years of research in creative flow, that we needed to create a solid foundation for our entire family, or we would never thrive.
