The black blazer of recipes
Here’s a variation on a Turkey meatball recipe I’ve posted before but instead of Italian seasoning: 3lbs Lean ground turkey 1.5 peeled and shredded zucchini 2 egg whites Season to taste with salt, fennel seed, and sage Air fryer for about 10-12 minutes depending on size. I sprinkle a little salt on top before cooking too. You can use this recipe as a base for so many different flavors. Use grated ginger and amino acids or whatever you like. It goes with anything- just like a black blazer. Enjoy!

One of the more interesting things I’ve learned is that even if you’re in full on menopause, you have a hormone shift each month that provides all of the excitement of having your period, without any actual evidence. Wait, let me clarify- the evidence is on the scale. Just like when you have a regular cycle every month and you bloat, gain a few extra pounds, and need a few extra calories- you get all of those same things in menopause. I call it my fake period. No woman has ever told me this information so now that I know- I’m passing it on to you. Thanks for filling me in Dr. G.

Day 40!
On this Day 40 I am officially down 12.2lbs and 13.8 inches! I had a steak and apple day yesterday and mostly just rested- and lost 1.8lbs! I am so thankful for this program and what I have learned about eating enough for my energy level. I have more to go, but considering that I’m 50 yrs old, in active menopause and recovering from GLP-1 use for the last two years, I am astounded that I was able to get this far! Thanks Dr. G!!
Turkey meatball Recipe
Okay here’s a recipe that I make all the time and have slightly modified the ingredients for Fast40: Lean ground turkey Zucchini Egg white Italian seasoning Salt to taste Peel and shred one zucchini into 1-2 pounds of ground turkey. Add an egg white and Italian seasoning and salt. Mix and form into balls and air fry until done. I also sprinkle a little salt on the top of the meatballs before cooking. The zucchini keeps the meat from drying out and helps with overall taste and texture. Enjoy!
