Happy Tuesday
How are you all? I'm finally back to work and my MA after Easter break. Which I dunno what you all think but feels like it lasted forever which was lovely. What are you up to this week? I'm working on a new pattern. See photo below.

@Sam Hill there was a hobbycraft in a garden centre so I got what I needed. Also had picked up the extra ball of wool for daughter's scarf a few weeks earlier when I ran out of that one. This is why I've now got so many on the go. I don't usually have quite so many lol

@Sam Hill 🤣🤣🤣 I hadn’t thought of it like that but, yes! Tbh it has been a blessing twice as I ran out of 2 separate balls of wool and that Hobbycraft saved my sanity. I don’t have Hobbycraft near me in Wales and I was at FIL’s house. Nearest HC was the one in garden centre. We needed a break from house clearing and coffee and cake Obs 🤣 But yeah, I can see how fatal it would be. 🥳
Question 6 today ❤️
For my MA and my future designs I'm really interested to find out if you as buyers of patterns are interested in the inspiration.story behind the patterns your buying?

Great question. I never thought that there would be a story. Probably because I don't follow a pattern (I probably should lol) and I only have 2 stitches (knit and purl). And everything is straight. That said I was thinking of asking you for a simple design for a baby blanket. My son got engaged last week. There's no baby or wedding plans yet, but I thought I might start early. He says he wants 17 children. Not sure his fiancé is quite so keen.

@Sam Hill I'm currently knitting the scarf for my daugher, so I think crochet would make a lovely change.

None lol I only knit or crochet in straight lines and squares or rectangles. That we way I can just keep going and I find it relaxing. Instructions or charts would interrupt my relaxing flow 🤣

Still working on the red(ish)/maroon scarf for my daughter. On the second ball of wall and thinking yikes, I'm going to need more wool soon. Fortunately, we're going to Manchester area on Sunday and I can nip into a Hobbycraft somewhere. Don't have Hobbycraft in Wales. Just hope I can get more of the same colour.

Count your stitches when you’re calm, not when you’re tired. That’s the whole tip. 😆

I don't like counting stitches unless I absolutely have to 🤣
