My sweet little 2 year old niece had her first dance recital on Sunday. I made her a simple card, embossed the envelope, and added a wax seal. I also gave her a few fresh peonies, cut and wrapped in just her size. I finished it off with a wax seal of her initial "O". I thought everything turned out lovely. I am new to card making so your comments for improvement would be greatly appreciated!

Life has been hectic lately and I haven't been able to write letters, make cards, or do pretty much anything crafty. I have ordered a TON of supplies though! Yikes! Anyone else ever go through phases where all you want to do is lock yourself in your room and create beautiful cards or paper things all day every day? Looking forward to catching up on all of your terrific creations.

It’s actually a funny coincidence that #PaperWrldChallenge for May came now because I was right in the middle of making this page for my art journal. I had been reading several posts here in the community and felt a surge of inspiration and also had this light green cardstock left over from another project I’ve been working on, so I thought I would use it as a background for a springy page. Here in Sweden spring is unusually cold this year with only around 10-13°C and cloudy weather so at least I have some spring in my journal 🌸🌺🌸 Can’t wait to see everyone’s contributions to the challenge 🥰🥰🥰

I write letters and send them through snail mail because everything about it brings me great joy. BUT last week I received 3 letters from friends...old and new. My heart burst with happiness to receive and to know that other people in my life enjoy corresponding this way as much as I do.
