🥋 Your Path Origin: Where did your journey begin? What pulled you into training? I started training striking at 14, mainly boxing and kickboxing, because of my older brother. Watching him go off to training and enjoying it pushed me to get involved, and over time it became something I wanted for myself too. Current Form: What level are you at right now? How long have you been walking this path? I’ve been training striking on and off since 14, and I’ve been doing MMA/grappling consistently for around 15 months. I’m now taking it more seriously and focusing on improving all areas. Mission: What are you working towards? I’m working towards amateur fights and eventually going pro. I want to keep improving, stay consistent, and become a well-rounded fighter. Right now I consider myself to be a better striker than grappler, but I would love to become a high level grappler. ⚔️ Beyond the Mats Life Outside Training: What do you spend your time on outside the dojo? Outside training, I spend time reading, video editing, and relaxing. It helps me stay balanced. Between work, training and other commitments I have I don't have a whole lot of time for much else. Recovery & Reset: How do you switch off and recharge? I focus on getting good sleep so I can recover properly and stay ready to train. I think that good sleep and good nutrition is the most important factors for recovery. I also do cold showers as a form of cold exposure. 🔥 Your Reason Why You’re Here: What brought you into the Jiyu dojo? I joined to share what I’ve learned and be part of a group that’s focused on improving. What You Seek: What are you aiming to gain from this brotherhood? I want to learn more about mindset, mobility, and conditioning so I can use this knowledge to help me keep developing my skills as a fighter.
