@Richard Forbes-Ritte Tuesday evenings are usually free for me. Just this week is my son’s 18th and I’ve promised to take him for his first legal pint.

@Nathalie Rockmer it was thanks.it was quite funny because the place we had picked to go happened to have a quiz night that was part way through so too late to join in. Everyone in the bar was playing so we had to talk very quietly to not disturb them.
Welcome to the tribe
You found your tribe. Welcome to ADHD Hunter Tribe. 🏹 Before you do anything else — introduce yourself below. Drop your name, where you’re from, and one ADHD trait you’re done letting run the show. Get your bearings: • Classroom — your RAISE Framework training lives here. Start with Module 1. • Community — this is your main feed. Post wins, questions, struggles. All of it. • Events — live sessions, hot-seats, and community calls drop here. • Members — find your people. You’re not the only one. One rule: no toxic positivity. We don’t do “just believe in yourself” here. See you inside. 🧠 WELCOME SCRIPT (spoken/video) Right. You’re in. Welcome to ADHD Hunter Tribe. I’m Rich. Late-diagnosed, Army veteran, programme manager, ADHD coach. And like most of you — I spent decades thinking I was broken. I wasn’t. And neither are you. This community is free. It always will be. Because the one thing the ADHD world doesn’t need is another paywall between you and feeling less alone. Here’s how it works. The Classroom tab is where your RAISE Framework training lives. Start there. Module 1 is short, I promise. The Community feed is yours. Post your wins. Post your struggles. Ask the daft question you’ve been embarrassed to ask anywhere else. Nobody here is judging — we’ve all got the same wiring. Events is where I’ll drop live sessions and hot-seats. Show up if you can. Lurk if you can’t. Both are fine. Now the rules. There aren’t many, but they matter. No toxic positivity. If someone’s struggling, don’t tell them to think positive. Sit with them instead. No unsolicited advice. If someone vents, ask before you fix. No shame. Not for the diagnosis. Not for the late nights. Not for the unfinished projects. We don’t do shame here. This is a Hunter’s world now. Introduce yourself in the welcome post. Tell us your name, where you’re from, and one ADHD trait you’re done letting win. I’ll see you in there. 🏹 RF (aka Captain Caveman)

Hi all. I’m Angus from near Leicester in the UK. I’m 58 and do not have a formal ADHD diagnosis. When I felt completely overwhelmed a couple of months ago (which is unusual for me now - probably because I’ve got used to masking) I stumbled across posts by @Richard Forbes-Ritte on Instagram. The algorithm was working well that day. The short videos just resonated with me as it just highlighted aspects of my life. Things like RSD, doom piling. Procrastination on mundane tasks. Jumping into conversations before I forget what I just have to say now. Always having an ‘about me’ example in conversations. I’m not sure if I want a formal diagnosis as would rather try other strategies than meds. Here to learn and explore and perhaps discover more about the real me so I don’t hide behind the mask of people pleasing. Oh also good at overhearing like this overly long introduction.

@John McArdle Hi John. I’m Angus. Also 58. And having watched @Richard Forbes-Ritte posts on Instagram feel that I have been masking and self medicating with cigarettes and alcohol. I quit the cigarettes when I got married 27 years ago and have almost stopped drinking. It was then that I started to feel the overwhelm. Once the self meds stopped it was just me and my thoughts. Alcohol had just numbed the evenings so I didn’t notice. Seeing where I am now as a learning journey to find me. Really pleased that Rich has created this group and its associated WhatsApp group. Welcome onboard

We have welcomed ten of you into the WhatsApp group!! And I’m really starting to regret having vibrating notifications on my phone… was alright to start but after 10 hours it went beyond acceptable: So please no one else join the WhatsApp group!! It’s only full of impulsive ADHDers making sense of the world anyway. . Here’s what you’ll avoid by not joining: 🗣️ Community Conversations: different threads for different topics. Coping, work, relationships, parenting, the stuff that doesn’t always fit neatly into a forum post. 🚨 Updates First: new courses, events, and announcements land here before anywhere else. If you’re in the channel, you won’t miss a thing. 📶 Real Connection: this isn’t the place for content. It’s just tribe members talking to tribe members about the things that matter most. 👥 No limit on numbers: the more the merrier. Get in, bring a mate if they need the tribe too. A few rules of engagement before you join: 🚫 No selling. This isn’t a marketplace. Keep the commercial stuff out. 🗣️ No disrespect. Swearing is fine — we’re adults. Using language to insult, demean or attack someone is not. Know the difference. ✅ No misinformation. Opinions are welcome and encouraged. But if you’re stating something as fact, it needs to be accurate. ADHD spaces have enough myths floating around — this one won’t add to them. 👇 don’t join the Jungle Drums here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/HHepKu4zpqc42Q3RPcTPjZ See you in there. Yeah. That about sums it up. Edit: Please note that WhatsApp displays members’ phone numbers to other participants in this community. By joining, you acknowledge that your phone number will be visible to other members.

You can mute conversations in WhatsApp so you don’t get overwhelmed by notifications and then catch up at a convenient time.
Burn all the clocks ⏰️
Hi everyone 🙂 not sure about a super power but I'd love for it to be socially acceptable to be late, or even better can we just scrap time completely?

@Micky Simpson I aim for early. Get delayed by family or think I have more time and try and fit a ‘quick’ task in before leaving.
Daily movement
I like to get my dopamine flowing by making sure I move in the morning… even when I really don’t feel like it!! A night on the sofa last night so today is a day I’m not feeling it… but I’m gonna get the bike out and get 30 minutes on that before the temperature rises What are you up to today?

I’ve just joined the local gym for the same reason. Dr has been telling me for a few years that strength training would be beneficial at my age. Getting the dopamine hit is a welcome bonus
