Day 4 - what money went out in the past 30 days?
The assignment is simple.. but confronting - Add up every dollar that left your life in the last 30 days - This includes: Bills/ Subscriptions/ Cash spending Venmo/Zelle/PayPal /Credit card payments - Investments (yes, even this counts as outflow for now) Do not categorize right now. Do not label as good or not. This will distract you because this could be a very intense exercise. Today is just one number: TOTAL OUT You don’t have to share the exact number. Most people underestimate how much goes out by 30-50%. You can share your feelings and reactions when you reach this final number.

I spent a little more than I brought in this last month. I got Chatgpt to analyse it and there were a lot of small Amazon purchases..! 😬🙄

Day 3 - what money came in during the last 30 days?
The first two days were about where your money lives. Today is about how money enters your life. Before you try to increase income, you need to understand your current inflow reality - in our riverbanks analogy, from what sources flow INTO our river? You cannot expand what you don’t accurately track. 1. Money comes in through specific channels 2. Those channels have timing, consistency, and behavior 3. Patterns in income determine stability and decision-making - when/where to spend, for example So where did the money come from in the last 30 days? Salary/wages? Gifts? Dividends from investments? This is crucial - bc if you did my $100k masterclass and you look at the Wheel of Wealth - you can see what levers you can press to increase the financial flow.. so Let’s hear it!

Steady but low business income as it's winter and tied to tourism and gardening. I sold a few things giving me some spare cash to put away
Accountability!
Hello fam, since we are starting 40 days of Financial Clarity to know our numbers and create/strengthen the financial systems and structures we currently employ - to create the strong river banks for the flow of money in our lives...I think some accountability might be helpful! Drop a note in this section if you want accountability, to be witnessed or seen in a micro habit you're trying to build, a pattern you want to break, or anything that you're starting that might desire support!

One thing I want to do is decide and set a monthly budget for things i want but dont need. Or even make a list of things I want AND need and sort them into priority order, and decide how much i can spend on those things. I dont have much impulse control and can convince myself I need something right now when I could probably wait or find a way of getting it for free or cheaper. So maybe I could work on that and post my progress every week?
Day 2 - what accounts do I have?
Yesterday we talked about building strong riverbanks • Money is already flowing in our lives - but without structure, it disperses • Today is not about changing anything, it’s about seeing where our money lives. We cannot direct money we cannot see. Every account is a “container” holding part of your financial energy. When accounts are scattered and unknown, your power is scattered Step-by-step truth: 1. Money flows into accounts 2. Accounts determine how money is held or lost 3. If you don’t know your accounts, you don’t fully know your flow

I have opened a few new accounts in the last couple of months: a joint account for me and my partner, a business account for my cleaning business, a business account for my gardening business, and a credit card specifically for building good credit score. It feels good to finally have everything separate, I can budget so much better, and sort my tax assessment out so much easier!
Day 38 - what are you grateful for now?
You feel calmer when you think about money. You trust yourself more with decisions. You’ve built consistency for the first time. You’re no longer ignoring what you know you need to face. That matters. Because none of this happened by accident. It came from your attention. Your honesty. Your willingness to show up for 37 days straight and tell yourself the truth. This is how change actually happens. Not in one big moment but in small, repeated actions that compound into something new. So be specific. Not “I’m grateful for more money.” Say: “I saved this amount.” “I paid this off.” “I showed up every day.” “I stopped avoiding this one thing
