This piece is coming along very well I’m looking at it and getting an idea of it being a pov of something on the shore but behind the tree line where vegetation and trees and flowers would take up some of that space in the foreground. Thus making the sky and water not occupy so much of the space that is in the canvas. You can actually achieve that in a variety of ways by adding more to the spaces on the canvas that aren’t very visible or a busy space in the scene you are creating.

The concept of letting the natural brush strokes dominate the landscape and create a more fluent environment is pretty cool and interesting to see up close.
