Introduce Yourselves!
Welcome! My name is Shilo and I am so happy to build this community with you. I have been spinning for more than 15 years and learn much of what I know the hard way - on my own. My hope in bringing us together I can share what I have learned and help spinners elevate their skills. As a community, we have so much knowledge. I’ve been spinning inconsistently for about a decade. I have drop spindles, supported spindles, and a kromski symphony. I started on a drop spindle loaned to my daughter from a lady at a reenactment place a block from our home. It was challenging for sure! I need to learn to be more consistent with spinning. I have not really made too many things with my handspun either. I want to spin well enough to weave with it.

2026: Big things are coming
Welcome to our little corner of the Skool community. I launched this channel to build a community for handspinners online and share what I have learned since my spinning journey began in 2010. With that said, I started this community VERY recently as 2025 is coming to a close. 2026 will bring many new and exciting things. I have courses in development and will start posting them next month. Thanks for being here and I look forward to the year to come.
