🌿 The Quiet Magic of Pregnancy 🌿
Pregnancy isn’t just about growing a baby—it’s also about growing a bond. Whether it’s those first flutters, quiet moments with your hand on your belly, or the dreams you have for your little one… there's a deep connection unfolding between you and your child, even now. 💬 I'd love to hear from you: What has been the most beautiful or surprising moment of connection you’ve felt during pregnancy?Or if you're early in your journey, what kind of connection are you hoping to build with your baby before birth? There’s no right answer—just a space to reflect, share, and be witnessed in this incredible experience. 💫

Love this prompt, Meaghan! During a meditation prompt from reading Spirit Babies, I got the feeling/vision of the color mustard yellow (before conception)… my connection to this lil one started there! I have a design-brain so made sense this is the nursery color inspo. Calling his name and feeling him turn to look up at me around 6 mo… beyond special. During savasana, slowing down enough to feel his heartbeat within me around 4 mo 🙌 the way he moves/connects w each person in my fam differently 🥹 And YES to highlight Amy’s comment about hearing his heartbeat at each appt w Meaghan. Best highlight was when my 4 yr old son got to hear 🫶🏼

Birth advice
If you've given birth before, what advice would you share to expecting mothers from your experience? My advice~assign someone to make or order you a hot and nutritious meal in the immediate postpartum period. You will not know you are famished until you are asked or brought food. I had warm Thai curry both times after giving birth. They were the best meals of my life.

Nutrition and supplements are the most impt and I think prep is everything. I made a short list menu that was easy for my husband to provide food for me off of. We had my son at the height of the pandemic and don’t have fam here so he was really my main support. I prepped pre-packed individual freezer meals when preggers so he’d only have to warm up… and I had one salad that he’d prep. Main Menu items: - Meatloaf, mashed pot and sauteed veg - Lasagna w roasted brocc (gf beef lasagna and zucc lasagna) - Chicken/veg/rice stew - Kale salad w roasted sweet potatoes, pepitas, nutritional yeast - Order fresh Indian food
