Why the best coaches all have this in common
I've trained a lot of coaches over the years. The ones who go on to get incredible results with their clients all share one thing… They do their own work first. They don’t just study it, they live it. They embrace what it's like to sit on the other side of the process they now guide people through. Because congruency isn't optional in this work. It's the difference clients can feel, even if they can't explain why. This Thursday is your chance to actually go through Heal The Past So You Don't Get Triggered as the person in the seat. This is for those who really want to look at what they know is going on with them but they’re not addressing. Save your place here

"I hate selling. I just want to coach."
I get this more than any other message... "I hate selling. I just want to coach." Coaches say it to me all the time. And I always want to say the same thing back. It’s not about selling. Coaches who hate selling don't have a selling problem. What they have is a belief problem. And the belief problem comes from one place. Not enough hours coaching with real people under real conditions. Think about the coaches you know who have no problem putting themselves out there… The ones who talk about their work with total certainty. The ones who never seem to hesitate when someone asks what they charge. They're not more confident by nature. They're not better at sales. They've just done the work with enough real people that they know exactly what they're capable of. They've sat in a session where everything went wrong and they found their way through it. They've had a client in complete breakdown and known what to do next. They've watched someone transform over twelve weeks and seen the data prove it. That's what builds the kind of belief that makes selling feel effortless. It’s not a mindset shift. It’s not even a sales script. It’s the hours. Real hours. With real people. Under real conditions. The problem is most coaches are left to collect those hours on their own. They coach friends who don't take it seriously. They offer free sessions hoping someone converts. They wait months to find anyone willing to pay. And they get no feedback on whether they're actually improving. So the hours add up but the belief doesn't. Because belief doesn't come from doing the hours. It comes from doing the hours well. That's what supervision and live feedback give you. Not just the experience of sitting with a client. But the experience of knowing after every session exactly what you did well and exactly what to do better next time. That's what we build into the Relationship You Deserve ICF Certification. We pay for the marketing. We get the clients. We hand them to you to coach under live supervision.

Thought for the day
“Ships don’t sink because of the water around it. They sink because of the water that gets in it.” This powerful analogy can be applied to our lives in a profound way. Just as a ship is vulnerable to the water that seeps in, our hearts and minds can be negatively impacted by the "garbage" we allow to enter. This "garbage" can come in many forms: negative thoughts, toxic relationships, unhealthy habits, or even harmful media. It's crucial to be mindful of what we let into our inner world. By consciously choosing to surround ourselves with positivity, inspiration, and supportive influences, we can create a strong, resilient vessel that can weather any storm.
