📊 Facebook Ad Experiment — Real-Time Documentation
(Messy. Honest. Still running.) Why I’m Doing This I’m documenting this in real time because most Facebook ad “case studies” skip the confusing parts.(full disclosure: chatGPT wrote this documentation and any advice or observations about this process is given by it ‘acting as’ the top Facebook ads marketer that I asked it to be.) Before this, I hadn't run an ad in at least 5 years. This is not an area where I have a lot of experience or knowledge. This is not a launch. Not a funnel. Not a scale play. This is a small-budget boosted post test to invite the right people into my Automated CEO Community - and I want to show the actual process, including when Meta does weird stuff. Starting Point (Before Ads) - Profile size: ~1.3K followers - Goal: Warm visibility + conversations (not cold conversions) - Budget: Small daily boost - Format: Boosted post, not Ads Manager I chose to boost a post that already had organic traction instead of creating an ad from scratch. The Original Post (Organic) This was the post I boosted because it had the most traction (image attached): "If you’re still trying to run your business on duct-taped systems and sheer willpower… you’re not alone. But you don’t have to keep doing it. I opened The Automated CEO Community this morning, and within hours people started joining - people who are tired of holding their entire business together in their head. (Details about workflows, clarity, templates, support, beta pricing, etc - I didn't include here) If you’re on the fence, ask yourself: How long do you want to keep operating on stress, memory, and caffeine? Link in the comments." Organic performance before boosting: - 204 views - 11 interactions - 2 comments This was my signal to test it with paid reach. My Original Prompt (What I Asked For Help With) Act as if you are the top Facebook ads marketer. I want to do a small cost ad (maybe a boosted post?) for one of my posts inviting to the Automated CEO.

Snapshot (Dec 17, 6 AM) - 💸 Spent: $28.19 (~4 days) - 💬 Engagements: 238 - 📉 Cost per engagement: $0.12 (still rock-solid) - 👀 Views: 922 - 🎯 Reach: 744 Nothing degraded as spend increased. That’s the headline. What’s Now Very Clear 1. This Is a Stable, Approved Ad Holding $0.12 CPE across four days tells us: - Meta is confident in delivery - The audience pool is not exhausted - The message continues to resonate If this were weak, you’d see cost creep by now. You didn’t. 2. Engagement Density Is Consistent 238 engagements on 744 reach ≈ ~32% engagement rate. For: - A business audience - A non-click, non-hype post - A boosted post (not native video) That’s strong and reliably strong, not spiky. Audience Insights (Now High-Confidence) Gender - ~82% men / ~18% women - Women representation is slowly inching up (good sign) Interpretation: - This message + placements are pulling ops-minded, experienced male business owners - Women are engaging more quietly, which tracks with behavior patterns we’ve discussed This is no longer a fluke — it’s a defined segment. Age Top groups remain: - 65+ - 45–54 - 55–64 - 35–44 This is: - Experienced - Established - Likely consultants, owners, or operators - Less performative, more deliberate Exactly the kind of audience that: - Reads - Watches - Waits - Then acts privately Placements (Very Useful Signal Now) Top delivery: - IG Reels: 349 - FB Mobile Feed: 142 - FB Reels: 125 - IG Feed: 98 Key takeaway: - Reels are clearly doing the heavy lifting - But feed placements are consistently contributing - This message travels well across formats That’s valuable intel for Round 2 creative. Locations (Predictable + Valuable) Top states: - CA, NY, TX, FL (leaders) - Followed by PA, GA, NC, OH, TN, NJ, MI, MA This is a classic SMB/consultant footprint. No junk traffic, no odd geos, no red flags. The Pattern (Zoomed Out) By Day 4, we can say with confidence:

@Ally Machate nothing from that ad yet. according to chatGPT this was more of a warm up exercise and when this ad is done, I can retarget the people who interacted with that post. so we shall see! I'll document the next one as well so you can follow along
What I’d Automate If I Were Starting My Business Over Today
If I could go back to Day One of my business (back when I was duct-taping everything together and hoping nobody noticed), here’s exactly what I’d automate first: 1️⃣ My Content Workflow I used to spend hours trying to come up with the perfect post. Now? One prompt → a full week of content. If I had this back then, I would’ve saved myself years of “blank cursor panic.” 2️⃣ My Client Onboarding The number of times I manually typed the same welcome email… embarrassing. Automating this would’ve given me back so many hours - and a lot of sanity. 3️⃣ My Daily Planning I didn’t realize how much energy I wasted trying to remember everything. AI pulling my tasks, priorities, and reminders into one clean daily brief? Game changer. 4️⃣ My Follow-Up System Clients, leads, team… I dropped balls left and right. AI doesn’t forget. Old-me could’ve used that superpower. If you’re building your business right now, learn from past-me: Automate the things you repeat. Start small. Stay consistent. Let the systems carry the weight. What would you do differently if you were starting today?

@Ally Machate I recently had AI help organize my day as well. the night before I feed it my schedule and anything I want to work on and it gives me a whole agenda for the next day, helps me prioritize things (I also gave it my primary goal so it reminds of what leads me to that and what's a distraction). AI can also help educate on HOW as well as what to automate!
Behind the Scenes: How I Set Up My Entire 12 Days of Christmas (Without Losing My Mind)
Real talk: If I had tried to set up a full 12 Days of Christmas offer the old way, it would’ve taken weeks… and I probably would’ve talked myself out of it halfway through. This time was different - and here’s why. How I Used AI to Make It Fast (and Way Less Stressful) AI helped me: - map out all 12 offers in one sitting - write sales pages, emails, thank you pages, and deliverables - keep messaging consistent without overthinking - turn ideas into finished assets instead of half-started drafts Instead of staring at a blank screen, I was making decisions and moving forward. That’s the real magic. The Part Most People Miss About a 12 Days Offer The offers themselves are great - but that’s not the main win. Every thank you page and every download includes an invite into this community. Why? Because this is my primary focus. Why the Community Matters More Than Any One Offer This is the one place where I can: - give massive ongoing value - teach how I actually use AI in real life - answer questions in real time - help you build systems with support The 12 Days offers bring people in… The community is where the real transformation happens. The Big Lesson Here AI didn’t just help me sell more. It helped me build smarter. Everything points to one place. One ecosystem. One space where learning and implementation happen together. If you’ve ever thought, “I want to do something like this, but it feels like too much,” this is your sign that it doesn’t have to be.

🎁 How to Create a Holiday Offer Using AI (From Idea → Sales Page → Promo)
If you’ve been thinking, “I want to run a holiday offer… but I don’t even know what to create,” take a breath. You’re not behind - and you’re definitely not alone. AI makes this whole process so much easier, even if you’re brand new to digital offers. Let’s walk through it step-by-step so you can get something out the door fast. 🎄 STEP 1: Use AI to Brainstorm Your Holiday Offer Idea Think of AI as your creative partner - the one who never runs out of ideas. Use this prompt to get the ball rolling: 🧠 Holiday Offer Idea Generator Prompt: “You are my business creative partner. I want to create a simple digital holiday offer priced under $20–$50. I work in the niche: [describe your niche]. Give me a list of 15 holiday-themed offer ideas that match what my ideal customer is already struggling with. Include why each idea would sell well and whether it would be fast for me to create.” ✨ Examples you can copy/paste based on your niche: College admissions consultant: “Give me 15 holiday-themed digital offer ideas I can sell to parents navigating the college admissions process. Include templates, checklists, quick-win guides, or anything that helps families feel more organized or confident.” Author services & onboarding consultant: “Give me 15 holiday-themed offers I can sell to authors - things like planning guides, pitch templates, revision checklists, or onboarding resources that help writers feel supported and prepared.” Reflexologist transitioning to online classes: “Give me 15 holiday-themed offers I can sell as a reflexologist - things like simple at-home routines, stress relief guides, short workshops, printable maps, or starter classes.” Credit & financial coach: “Give me 15 holiday-themed digital offers for credit repair and budgeting support - things like credit-boost kits, templates, scripts, checklists, or New Year money reset resources.” 🎁 STEP 2: Choose the “Container” (Shape) of Your Offer Once you have ideas, pick ONE that feels light and doable.

🎄 Behind the Scenes of My “12 Days of Offers” (AKA: How Fast You Can Actually Build an Offer)
If you’ve been peeking at my 12 Days of Christmas sale, here’s the fun part: There is zero obligation to buy anything. Truly. This whole series is meant to show you what’s possible when you stop waiting for perfect and start building. I’ll be sharing every single offer I’m promoting each day - not to sell you, but to give you real-world examples of how quickly you can put something together using the tools and workflows you’re learning here. Because the whole thing? Idea → outline → assets → sales page → automation? It came together in just a couple hours. 🧠 Here’s the Quick Breakdown of the Steps I Used 1. Start with a tiny, meaningful transformation Think small: one template, one workflow, one checklist, one script. Something instantly useful. 2. Let AI build the first draft I gave Atlas (my chatGPT) the structure and intention, and it drafted the deliverable in seconds. My job was simply to refine it so it matched my voice. 3. Create the sales page with a single prompt The page you see is mostly AI-written - I just added personality and clarity. 4. Layer in a simple upsell or bonus Optional but powerful. This shows you how to increase revenue without adding complexity. 5. Automate and move on Set it → schedule it → let the system work while you do literally anything else. 💬 Why I’m Sharing This Inside Automated CEO Because I want you to see real examples of how light this can be. You don’t need: - A huge idea - A complicated funnel - Three weeks of planning You just need: - A clear micro-result - A repeatable workflow - And the willingness to let AI take the heavy lifting That’s it. Your turn: If you had to create a tiny offer in the next 24 hours, what would your topic be? Drop it below - let’s spark some ideas together.
