Have you seen this "viral" rescue story!!
The Viral Thread That Has Everyone Sharing Their Rescue Stories 🐾 You've probably seen this one trending — a guy posted a video of him cuddling with his rescue pup, Bando, and casually captioned it: "Whoever lost this dog, thank you for not looking for him. He's got a good home." 😱 Link to story...https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2026/01/06/rescue-dogs-abandoned-adopt-threads/ The post went absolutely nuclear. Over 1.2 MILLION views and thousands of people flooding the comments with their own rescue stories — dogs found chained in parks, dumped in parking lots, abandoned at car washes. Each photo more heartwarming than the last. 🎯 One story really got me: A guy named Matthew East found his pup Otis behind a dumpster at 2 weeks old. Now they travel the world together — Italy, Kenya, you name it. Here's what makes this so powerful: 🙏🏻 It wasn't just about one dog. It became this spontaneous movement of people celebrating second chances. Every single comment was basically saying, "Hey, look what I got when I gave a forgotten dog a shot." ❤️❤️ Makes you think... what are WE overlooking that could turn into something amazing? 🤔 (Also — can we talk about how Bando got his name because it's slang for "abandoned house"? That's cold... and brilliant.) 😎 Anyone here have a rescue story? Drop it below. 👇

UGH kills my heart seeing these, but fills it hearing the sweet animals are now loved as they deserve😍 There is a story that happened here ( vancouver canada) in the spring that went viral also, some piece of shit- excuse my language- threw their badly injured ( i'm assuming beaten) dog in a garbage can along the trails...a lady was hiking and went to throw something away.... https://youtu.be/RNRGc6y0yqk?si=NF8BGWpcPiVbCfXe

🚨 5 "Safe" Holiday Foods That Are Secretly DESTROYING Your Dog's Gut!
Most dog parents have NO IDEA they're doing this... You think you're being careful. You've heard about chocolate and grapes. You're watching the dessert table like a hawk. 👀 But here's what NOBODY talks about: 😱 ✅ 1. Turkey Skin & Fat Trimmings "Just a little won't hurt" → Pancreatitis within 24 hours. Your dog's gut goes into complete chaos. One ER visit costs more than your entire Christmas dinner. ✅ 2. Ham (Yes, Even "Plain" Ham) The sodium content alone triggers inflammation that takes WEEKS to recover from. Your dog's gut lining? Getting shredded with every "harmless" bite. ✅ 3. Those "Healthy" Veggie Sides Green bean casserole. Mashed potatoes. Stuffing. ALL loaded with onion and garlic powder. Both are TOXIC and attack your dog's red blood cells while destroying gut bacteria. ✅ 4. Sugar-Free ANYTHING Xylitol is in everything now - pies, cookies, even some gravies. It doesn't just cause liver failure. It annihilates the gut microbiome FIRST. ✅ 5. Cooked Bones (The "Natural" Treat) Raw bones? Different story. COOKED bones? They splinter, puncture, and cause internal bleeding. But the gut damage happens even before the puncture - sharp fragments scraping the intestinal lining the entire way through. The Real Problem? 🤯 It's not just about avoiding these foods...It's that ONE exposure can trigger a gut health spiral that lasts months. Chronic diarrhea. Mystery allergies. Constant itching. Anxiety that appears "out of nowhere." 🥲 Most vets never connect it back to that ONE holiday meal. Your move: Screenshot this. Share it with every dog parent you know. One share could save a dog's life (and a family's Christmas). 😇 What "safe" food shocked you the most? Drop a 👀 below. What "treat" do you stick to during the Holidays? Help us out with some "safe" suggestions!

@Tyler Frans, DVM love it!! I used to be an assistant at an emergency hospital. I appreciate what you do💜, I had to stop after 9 months- the stuff I saw and way some people treat animals was too much for my heart to handle!
