🧠 The Hardest Move in Chess Isn’t on the Board…
Most people think the hardest part of chess is finding the best move. I disagree. The hardest part is making a decision when you’re not completely sure. Sound familiar? Life works the same way. We rarely have perfect information. We don’t know exactly what will happen. Sometimes we simply have to analyze, trust ourselves, and move forward. That’s why chess is so much more than a game. Every position is an opportunity to practice: ♟ Decision-making 🎯 Focus under pressure 🧠 Critical thinking 💡 Creativity 🚀 Confidence The next time you sit at a chessboard, ask yourself: “Am I only trying to win the game… or am I training my mind?” 💬 Let’s discuss: What has chess taught you that you use in everyday life? Or… If you’re new to chess, what life skill would you like to develop through the game? 👇 Share your thoughts in the comments. Let’s learn from each other. Play. Think. Grow. Together. ♟

♟ What do you think comes first in chess?
Most players answer: Calculation. Genera imagen que acompane esta idea They believe the secret to finding a good move is calculating many variations and eliminating the bad ones. Something like this: Calculate → Analyze → Evaluate But… I believe it’s exactly the opposite. Because… How can you calculate correctly if you don’t even understand the position? Before looking for moves, I always ask: ✅ Whose king is safer? ✅ Which pieces are active? ✅ Who has the better pawn structure? ✅ Which squares are weak or strong? Only then do I start looking for ideas. And only after that… I calculate. The better you understand a position… The less you need to calculate. ⸻ 💬 Question If you had 5 minutes for one position… Would you spend them: A) Calculating variations? B) Understanding the position first? Tell us why.
