I think it would be a hit. Could consider just doing bouldering as I'd imagine it is easier to setup, run and is more accessible to people who have not climbed before.

We are lucky with a lot of good local facilities. But I think a gynamastics club and facilities, indoor bouldering/climbing wall and an athletics club/running track.

@Nick McCashin I think there's a lot of active people in the town and local area who would use it. Bouldering is very accessible to all abilities and ages. It would also be a good birthday party idea. You could get a wee cafe at it and make it a community hub. Eden Rock also has a gym as part of their setup.

My kids are a bit young, but I think it is something which is missing locally. The Law Race are always looking for local sports clubs to give funds to, so it could be a way to get a one off funding boost. I'd heard a rumour they might be building an atheltics track on the school playing pitches which would be amazing. In my opinion other local clubs the town lacks are gymnastics and some sort of climbing/bouldering club.
