I choose the option “b” as an answer because SF gives the opportunity to make all sales processes in just a single interface which means there’s no need for keeping Customer data in Whatsup, email and notebooks. This does not not only make the business running cumbersome but also the privacy of customer information is not secured. Salesforce provides IaaS i.e. infrastructure as a service which means S.F has a vast storage cloud to keep all the customer Data and also has a confiscated Security system to ensure the privacy of customer information. Regarding the sales process, we can leverage the built in system like the “leads” , “Account”, “Cases” , “Chartter” among others which are all categories to monitor our sales processes and closing of deals. For example : Salesforce provides as with a form that we can put on our company’s website and any potential customer that shows interest in our product can fill and he/she is directly synced into our Salesforce platform. The System then put him in the “Leads” section. As we know have access to his details we then reach out to him and if there’s good progress we can move him to the account category . This is where we have a full access of tracking all interactions at the activity section. We can make several automations including scheduling for emails , calls and other automated responses. More so, there’s no need to have sales discussions on Whatsup anymore because the “charter” category gives our team the platform to make plans and decisions concerning a customer and deals can be closed quickly. We are also able to customise the categories to suit our business operations as Salesforce provides “PaaS” Platform as a service . More so, it is “SaaS” : Software as a Service and also scalable which means we don’t have to spend to buy installation packs and updates and also we have access to the platform wherever we are , also we only pay for the specific services we want to get from Salesforce which means the platform is cost effective.
