Bring Your Own Twilio & Tool Failure Notification System
Quick update on what we shipped today. We made serious progress on the Bring Your Own Twilio (BYOT) rollout. Agencies can now connect their own Twilio account, pull their numbers in, and assign those numbers to the correct workspace instead of dumping everything into a confusing pile. We also added workspace-level Twilio connections, so if a client wants to bring their own Twilio account, they can do that inside their own workspace the way it should have worked from the start. You can purchase numbers 3 ways on our platform now: 1. Platform Numbers provided by Automation Studios 2. Agency BYOT Integration (agency supplied numbers to clients) 3. Client BYOT Integration (client supplies their own Twilio account) We also cleaned up number visibility across the platform. Ownership is clearer, imported numbers are easier to identify, and we fixed multiple issues around assignment, unassignment, workspace routing, and outbound AI calling. We also uncovered a deeper edge case while testing live, which is exactly why we test this stuff in the real world and not just in theory. At the same time, I'm building out a failure system. The goal is simple: when something breaks, it needs to fail clearly, surface the real problem fast. Better recovery, better guardrails, better visibility.

Twilio Business Verification is LIVE β€” Here's How It Works
We just rolled out full Twilio business verification directly inside the platform. No more jumping between dashboards or dealing with Twilio's console. Here's the quick rundown: What it does: When you want to buy phone numbers for your AI agents, Twilio requires your business to be verified first. We handle all of that for you automatically. How it works: 1. Go to Settings β†’ Organization and fill out your business details (business name, address, EIN, and an authorized representative) 2. Hit Submit for Verification β€” we package everything up and send it to Twilio on your behalf 3. Twilio reviews it (usually takes 24-48 hours for US businesses) 4. You'll get an email when you're approved (or if anything needs fixing) 5. Once approved, head to Phone Numbers and buy your first number What you'll see in the dashboard: - Yellow = Business profile incomplete (still need to fill in your details) - Cyan = Profile complete, verification needed (hit that submit button!) - Green = You're verified and ready to buy numbers Already have your own Twilio account? (BYOT) If you already have a Twilio account with verified business credentials, you can bring your own. Just toggle on "Bring Your Own Twilio" in Settings, plug in your Account SID and Auth Token, and you're good to go. No need to go through our verification process β€” we'll use your existing Twilio account directly. A few tips: - Make sure your business name matches your EIN registration exactly - Phone numbers need to be in international format (+1 for US, like +15551234567) - Your business address should match what's on file with the IRS - If you get rejected, don't panic β€” just update the flagged info and resubmit What happens behind the scenes: We create a verified business profile on Twilio using their TrustHub system, link it to your sub-account, and handle all the back-and-forth so you don't have to. Once approved, phone number purchases are unlocked instantly. That's it. Fill out your info, submit, wait a day or two, and you're live.

Stripe Connect Express is Currently only configured to allow US Companies
I went to integrate my stripe account but it required me to sign up a new account for the stripe connect express account linked to Automation Studios but it would only allow US based Companies, and was not configured to allow International business's. Thanks

This should be fixed now, it was just a stripe setting, all countries (that stripe supports) should be good to go now πŸ‘
🚧 Quick Platform Update 🚧
We’re currently rolling out a major infrastructure upgrade behind the scenes to make Automation Studios more stable, secure, and scalable as we continue to grow. This includes improvements to permissions, user access, and overall platform performance so agencies have a smoother experience and cleaner data separation moving forward. You may notice small changes, brief interruptions, or things shifting around visually while we complete this work. Nothing to worry about β€” this is all part of strengthening the foundation for what’s coming next. Appreciate your patience while we tighten everything up. Big improvements ahead. πŸ™

We’re making good progress on the infrastructure upgrade. βœ… Over the next 24–48 hours you may notice a few more small redirects or minor UI tweaks as we finish tightening permissions and cleaning up access boundaries. No action needed on your end β€” everything is still running as normal. If you see anything weird, please drop a screenshot + the page URL and we’ll squash it fast. Appreciate your patience πŸ™
