Hi All! My name is Mary (she/her), and I live in Arlington, WA on a beautiful 20 acre farm, Pragtree Farm. I have been co-stewarding this land with three of my friends for a couple of years now and am honored to be a part of this intentional community. This farm has a rich history of many hands contributing to caring for this space in a way that helps to regenerate the earth. Tending to the land is truly one of my passions. I am excited to connect with you all and be a part of this collective, where we can share what we are working on and what we are learning and get feedback from others on how to best take care of the land (and each other). I am a landscape/farm designer who is passionate about regenerative farming practices. I love bringing designs to life by embracing my artsy side, but really, it is my goal to help others and put my all into this "work." I want to continue learning how I can help land owners, fellow stewards, enthusiasts, and daydreamers explore the tools it takes to create a sanctuary that fully embodies permaculture ethics and is soothing to the soul. @Mary Marshall and I have been in the field mapping farms for a book we are working on nearly every day for the last couple of weeks. Soon, we will be sharing lessons learned from these sites here with you all! We can't wait to share what we are building :) For now, we are using the last of the nice weather to fly as much as we can!

We just received news that we will be receiving a grant through our local conservation district. We will have $10,000 to buy plants. What are you interested? What should we grow? Attached is a list of 50 productive plants for this region that we put in many of our designs. What stands out to you as something we should plant.

We’re back on Skool with a new focus: Regenerative Storytelling! We’ll still explore agroforestry, permaculture, regenerative farming, farm design, and more.... now with a greater emphasis on sharing the stories behind the work. We believe stories can change the world! Our goal is to learn together and empower one another to become voices for change in our communities. Mary and I will share the new projects we’re developing and teach the storytelling strategies we use to document regeneration in action. Along the way, we’ll help you recognize the stories you have to tell and empower you to share them.
