@Hernando Thola we offer kids classes Monday, Tues and Wednesdays 6pm-7pm for 7-11yrs old class size is 15-20 on normal end or busy time. Slow times 7-10 kids. Thursdays 6pm-6:30pm 5-6yr olds I have 3 coaches some times 4 blue belts and black belts again helping. I only have 10 kids in that program that I take because of age and attention span. If I had another coach I probably take more. I have found that the 5-6yr olds fill up quicker than the 7-11yr olds most of the times I some times have a waiting list to get in

@Hernando Thola yeah I normally will do paid in full memberships also and sell about 3-5 of them
Offers I am doing currently
4 Week Intro Course $49.99 gives the opportunity to try out 1 month without signing up for a contract this is something I’ve been offering for about 2yrs and have had great success. I would say 0-10 (example) 2-3 will sign up for this offer. They feel they have some skin in the game and see some value. I would never do a week free or a day free because I’ve done 30 days free before and you know what I’ve gotten out of it zero. What do you offer? What works best for you? Tips?

@Hernando Thola wow I can barley get people to pay $130 for a membership let alone $599 what do you think makes people feel the price is there.
Class Sizes
Been on a hot streak with enrollment lately and wanted to get some input on something. I had a parent comment about our class sizes. Yesterday we had 40 kids ages 5-8 on the mat….we’ve got about 2,300 sq ft of mat space to work with. Funny enough, the parent who raised concerns was a kid who was on his first trial class, and he had a great time…genuinely a strong first class for him. On my follow-up call today she said he loved it and they’d be back tomorrow but she asked whether the class size was normal, since it felt big to her. I’ve averaged around 25 kids in that age group for a while, but with how fast we’ve been growing, 35-40 seems to be where we’re landing now as the new norm. I’m deliberate about coverage though…worst case I run 1 adult per 8 kids, split into pods of 4 pairs each, with an adult per pod. On days like yesterday I will add. 5th pod with another adult helper. There is no sparring at this level, just paired technique work, so I float between pods, jump in one-on-one, and pull stragglers back on task. A couple Jr. Assistants help out too when they’re around. The class itself felt smooth and had a good vibe, but her comment stuck with me, especially with growth like this. Curious what you all run for class size and ratio of adult to kids at that age group, and how you’d handle feedback like hers. I’m planning to sit down and actually look at capacity, and I’m leaning toward adding another slot on a different day for that age group to spread the numbers out…but wanted to hear how others think about it first. I’ve seen schools with way more kids and chaos on the mats so I feel like I am doing things correctly but I am a bit of a perfectionist so her comment is eating at me a bit.

My kids size I would say on the high end in a class is 25 this is for 7-11yr olds. I have 3-4 coaches with me and can fit roughly 40 kids on the mats if need be a max of 55. My 5-6yr olds program I have a limit of 10 kids allowed in the program and that’s by choice it’s 1 day a week for 30 minutes long. What are your guys tips on enrolling kids? What are you currently doing? My whole academy program I would say I base it for success for children because that’s what’s makes or breaks a academy.
