Wins - getting my terminally ill wife home out of UCLH. Losses - being made redundant the day after my Mum’s funeral.. I prefer to get the Ecudets chair early (saves all those hairpins) head to La Thuile for coffee then do lunch in the iconic Bar San Bernando right opposite the hospice. Lovely people n great food! Then a few runs around the pass before heading down for the late Ecudets chair (don’t miss the turn off above La Ros village) back down to the car park just a few kms from BSM or Villaroger (for us on the dark side!)

My win - free central London parking thanks to our recently acquired blue badge (big C 4 my wife) and we had a great movie weekend at home - watched Temple Grandin on Prime - incredibly moving film esp as Mrs J spent her working life in main stream schools support students with autism.. 🥰
