As we approach Black Friday, let's make a list of all of the best new plugins to keep an eye out for. I'm a huge fan of the Cradle Audio plugins because of The God Particle (has been almost the only thing on my master channel for about 2 years now). It's the ultimate master bus sound-gooderizer in my opinion. A black box that does SOMETHING amazing that I'm not able to vocalise further than "it good. it very good". I'm SO stoked about their new drum focused plugin called Orion that is exactly the same level of magic as The God Particle is for mastering but for drum busses. I absolutely love a plugin that removes the need for me to over intellectualize a process. Slap it on - tweak some knobs - BOOM. All of their plugins are just GOLD! Highly highly recommend. If you're a musician waiting for a label to release your music, you're putting your future on hold ⏸️ I used to believe my success depended on getting signed. But the reality is, waiting on other labels to release your music is one of the biggest things holding you back. EVERYTHING changed for me when I started my OWN label, GLITTER COWBOY. Out of my top 10 most-streamed tracks on Spotify, 7 of them were self-released. (Those 7 songs alone account for over 21 million streams) In fact, 63% of my total Spotify plays - that’s almost 30 million streams - come from tracks I’ve released myself. The reason I’m where I am today is simple: I stopped waiting for someone else's permission to grow. By starting my own label, I was able to release as much music as I wanted, as often as I wanted. Releasing consistently gave me the momentum to scale my fanbase quickly. If I had waited on other labels, I wouldn’t have had that chance. If I hadn’t created my own label, I wouldn’t have the streams, the catalog, the fanbase, or simply the career I have now. So if you’re an artist feeling stuck, this is your invitation to take control. Start your own label and release LOTS AND LOTS of heartfelt music. Stop waiting for someone else to define your success. Your future is in your hands.
