Ranked Rocket League
I am a hard stuck diamond, I have 215 hours into the game and cant figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can someone please tell me how they have gotten out of diamond? And if they felt the same way as me? 🙏

Homey I have been diamond for like six seasons and only gotten to Champ in two of those seasons. I am what you would say is hard stuck. Keep working and you will get there!
You might be over doing it!
Recently I started to lose more than normal. I would get on practice and then play, a pretty normal routine, however, then I started losing and losing more and more. After a few days I took a break from the game because I got defeated and tired of losing. I jumped back on and decided to just do a few minutes of free play for my practice and then jumped right into ranked. I won 8 in a row and realized I over practiced. I was fatiguing myself out before jumping into games and mentally wasn't there. Luke posted a short the other day about being prepared mentally and this is a very important step. Be careful you are not over practicing before you play and if you are fatigued, then don't play ranked those days. Take a break from the game and reset your mind then jump back into it. Find the fine balance!
To Ball Cam or Not to Ball Cam, that is the question!
Swapping ball cam on and off in-game? Total game-changer. It's like, you're zooming down the field, ball cam's got your back, pointing you right at the action. But then, you gotta snag some boost or nail that perfect shot, right? That's when you flick ball cam off, do your thang, then flip it back on - all smooth like. It's kinda like this cool dance. You lead, ball cam follows. Mastering this? It's like unlocking a secret level, letting you glide through the game with this easy flow. So next time you're in the thick of it, remember this little move. Could totally be the play that clinches it.
COMMUNICATION! - Voice Chat - USE IT!
Voice chat is a game-changer in Rocket League, providing a direct line of communication between you and your teammates. Whether you're coordinating plays, calling out rotations, or just sharing some banter, voice chat can take your gameplay to the next level. Using voice chat allows for quicker communication compared to typing, giving you a competitive edge on the field. It enables you to react faster to the game's dynamics, make split-second decisions, and coordinate with precision. But voice chat isn't just about strategy; it's also about building camaraderie. Connecting with your teammates on a personal level can enhance teamwork and foster a more enjoyable gaming experience for everyone involved. So, if you're not already using voice chat, why not give it a try? Whether you're playing casually or competitively, incorporating voice communication can lead to more coordinated plays, better teamwork, and ultimately, more victories on the pitch. Grab your microphone and start communicating – you won't regret it! Before you say the opponent will hear you. Let them! You will be able to perform your action faster than they can react! Yes, your tm8 needs the same amount of time to react as your opponent but you will still have the advantage because you are communicating and most likely your opponents are not.
Most UNDERATED mechanic!
PASSING! Passing is a crucial aspect of team play in Rocket League, involving deliberately hitting the ball to a teammate rather than directly towards the opponent's goal. Effective passing can create scoring opportunities, maintain possession, and break down the opponent's defense. To execute successful passes, communication is key. Quick chats or voice communication can help coordinate plays and inform teammates of your intentions. Additionally, being aware of your teammates' positions and readiness to receive a pass is essential. Timing and accuracy are also vital. Anticipate your teammate's movements and aim your pass to where they'll be, not where they are. Practice precision and control to ensure your passes reach their intended target. Mastering passing can elevate your team's gameplay, leading to more coordinated attacks and increased scoring chances. By prioritizing teamwork and communication, you can unlock new dimensions of strategy and effectiveness in Rocket League.
