I adopted a plant-based diet in 2017 but became vegan in 2024, when I learned that veganism is the principle that humans should live without exploiting animals. I came to recognize that animals are individuals and should be perceived as such, not as objects or resources for humans to use, and understand that veganism begins in the mind -- that it's not a series of behaviors or practices, but an ethical stance through which actions follow. I'm currently organizing tours with PETA's education department, TeachKind, and developing their high school curriculum. I'm also a chapter organizer with Anonymous for the Voiceless and a mentor with Animal Activism Collective. I aim to finally start a YouTube channel discussing veganism and activism this year.
