“Regulating your nervous system” online nowadays makes you feel like you need to quit your job and travel across the world to become a monk in bali It started sounding like: - Do the bare minimum - Stop training hard - Rest only - Meditate 2 hours a day - Do yoga But as someone who’s ambitious as fuck, that just doesn’t resonate I LIKE training hard I LIKE working 10 hour days to pour into my business I LIKE to travel every couple months I LIKE having big goals and aspirations I dont want a smaller life just so my nervous system can handle it And i dont think you need one eithet But what I have learned… (sometimes the hard way) is that you can’t constantly ask your body to perform without also teaching it how to recover Hard training = Stress Poor sleep = Stress Entrepreneurship = Stress Travelling = stress Being the person everyone relies on = Sttess Nervous system regulation isn’t about becoming less ambitious It’s about having the structure + habits to build up your capacity that allows you to live your big f*cking life without running yourself into the ground This is why I’m bringing this conversation to my Nervous System Reset Masterclass on August 19th at 6:30pm EST We’ll be covering nervous system regulation, the gut-brain connection, the vagus nerve, stress and recovery and practical tools you can start using immediately to feel more like yourself again Mark it in your calendars, invite your friends!
