Introduction
Just introducing myself here. I'm from north of Kingston, Ontario, Canada. My family and I moved to the country a year ago. We're living in the family cottage while we renovate another cottage to live in year-round. Big changes, but I'm much closer to my gardens now! Plus, I've recently retired, so it's much easier to keep up on gardening. Looking forward to being in this community!

@Megan Webb Thank you. So glad to find this community! And glad to have more time to garden, for sure.
Squash harvest
Almost done processing everything from the garden. Just finished sanitizing all this squash -- over 50 pounds -- and now I have to figure out where to put it in my very small house. LOL. First time growing tromboncino squash. They are crazy productive!! Definitely recommended if you have space.

@Katie Marie I washed with a gentle soapy water, then wiped them down with hypochlorous acid. Here's an article about the use of hypochlorous acid in the garden. https://gardenculturemagazine.com/addressing-hypochlorous-acid/

Just a couple garden kitties
These guys love the garden. They are out here with me daily and it makes me so happy. Just wanted to share!

That's awesome! My cat likes to come with me to the garden, too, and hang out. It's about a 200 meter walk, so that part is fun, too.
