Hi,Im Eddie I’m currently buying infill lots in Houston and Dallas. My goal is to build small multifamily or SFH, depending on zoning. I work with a clear ARV-based budget — 10-20% max. Let’s connect!
@Tim Dixon what part of Illinois? I have some connections out that way I could potentially link you with but they work in a particular area so I want to make sure its the right fit for both of you
@Tim Dixon no problem at all. Thats what we are here for. I am actually located in ATL GA but I look to network all over. I even have connections with people over seas. I love this new era of opportunity
@Jie Dong As far as real estate, at the moment I am just outsourcing and trying to keep up with my numbers. My goal this year is discipline. Hit my KPIs and divorce the results. No new projects for 2025 as of yet, just potentials.
So I’ve seen a couple houses that are part of or qualify for section 8 housing. Most of the time I see it, it is being advertised as a good thing. Any advice on whether those are good investments or not? Or does qualifying for section 8 not really matter
Great question bro. Im commenting to follow the post because I do not know much about it. I know there are certain “classes” you have to take to offer it, but that is about it. I have one investor who offers section 8 to an “older” crowd in Georgia and she loves it.
@Myles Berrio Understood. Correct, yes they actually own the lot according to them and sources online. I have not looked into who actually owns the entire lot.
