Your goal should be to become the woman who doesn’t need a hack anymore.
I’m on my lunch break scrolling social media and I just came across a post asking: “Women who struggle with losing weight, would you rather learn how to make pineapple tea today or chia seed water?” And honestly, this is why I want my girls to be VERY careful with what you consume online. There is nothing wrong with pineapple tea. There is nothing wrong with chia seed water. But if the entire solution being presented to a woman who is struggling to lose weight is “drink this and lose weight,” we have a problem. Because losing weight isn’t really about finding the right tea. It’s about understanding your calorie intake, protein, fiber, hydration, movement, strength training, sleep, stress, portions, consistency, and most importantly your habits. A quick fix may temporarily change the number on the scale, especially if you’re losing water or simply eating less because you’re replacing food with a drink. But that doesn’t teach you what to do when life gets busy, you’re traveling, you’re eating with your family, you’re stressed, or you don’t have that special drink available. And THAT is where people struggle. I understand that people are building businesses and trying to make money. Nothing wrong with that. But if we’re truly trying to help women, we have to teach them how to create sustainable results not just how to get a temporary result. Don’t just give women something to drink. Teach her why she’s struggling, what needs to change, and how to maintain the results once she gets them. Your goal shouldn’t be to find the next weight-loss hack. Be careful what you let social media convince you is the answer. 💕

UPDATE UPDATE!
Whew… this was a CRAZY week! 😂 Between work, customers, and everything else I have going on, I honestly had more on my plate than personal training clients this week. But sometimes that’s just how the week goes! I’m BLESSED!! So today, I took the day to slow down, get back to the basics, and CHILL a little bit. I’m currently at the zoo with my nephew and a friend, just enjoying the day and getting a little reset. I also wanted to check in with everyone! Hopefully everybody is doing well, staying consistent, and giving themselves some grace when life gets busy. I’ve been really focused on transitioning as many of my clients as possible over to my virtual training platform and getting everyone comfortable with the app. It’s been going really well, and I’m excited about where everything is headed. I’m just trying to stay committed to the plan and keep moving forward. Next week, I’ll get back into my regular posting rhythm, probably every other day, and I’m looking forward to connecting more with everyone. And welcome to all of the new people in the group! From what I can tell, we’re a group of hardworking women who are balancing A LOT, so let’s continue to encourage each other, stay motivated, and keep showing up for ourselves. Just wanted to check in and say HELLO! 🤎 Enjoy your weekend, take a breath, reset, and let’s get back to work next week! How is everybody doing? What’s one win you had this week? I’ll go 1st!

I hope you’re have an absolutely remarkable day! 🌺
Ladies, I just want to remind you how beautiful it is to experience life outside of the normal routine. Whether you’re here in Atlanta or anywhere else, there are so many ways to challenge yourself, move your body, and create memories. Recently, I had the opportunity to snorkel in Hawaii, and it was such an amazing experience. Not only was it beautiful, but it challenged me in a different way. Fun fact: I taught myself how to swim, and I’m pretty proud of the skills I’ve built over the years. Something about being in the water reminds me how important it is to keep learning, growing, and pushing yourself. I love anything that challenges me— swimming, hiking, strength training, yoga, Pilates, golf, trying new experiences… anything that helps me become a better version of myself. Life is about more than just working and responsibilities. Find something that brings you joy. Find something that challenges you. Find something that makes you feel alive. So tell me… what hobbies are you into?
I hope you’re have an absolutely remarkable day! 🌺

SATURDAY CHECK-IN! ☀️
The week is officially over… and here we are! Me? I’m actually working today, and you know what? I’m not complaining! 😂👩🏾‍💻 It’s a beautiful Saturday, I’m out here working, I’m about to make some money, meet some great people, and enjoy the day. That’s a win in my book! But I want to know what the rest of my ladies are doing today… Are we: 🏋🏽‍♀️ Getting a workout in? 🧘🏽‍♀️ Resting and recovering? 🛒 Running errands? 🥗 Meal prepping? 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Spending time with family? 💃🏽 Going out and having some fun? 📚 Catching up on things you didn’t have time for during the week? 😴 Or are you doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING because you earned that rest?! And remember: your Saturday doesn’t have to look productive to be valuable. Sometimes you need the workout. Sometimes you need the nap. Sometimes you need to get outside. Sometimes you need to handle your business. And sometimes you just need to sit down and ENJOY YOUR LIFE. So let’s hear it… WHAT’S ON YOUR SATURDAY AGENDA? Drop ONE thing you’re doing today in the comments. 👇🏽 And if you’re working today like me… WE’RE GETTING THIS MONEY! 😂💰 Happy Saturday, ladies! Make it a GOOD one!

“My metabolism must be broken.” Girl, what!?
Your metabolism isn’t “broken.” It’s adapting. One of the biggest myths in fitness is that your metabolism just slows down because of age. The truth? Your body is incredibly smart. It responds to the environment you create. If you’ve been: • Eating too little for months • Constantly dieting • Skipping protein • Sitting most of the day • Losing muscle from not strength training…your body becomes more efficient. It starts conserving energy because it thinks resources are limited. The good news? You can teach it a different story. Here’s how: ✔ Build muscle through strength training. ✔ Eat enough protein to support muscle repair. ✔ Stop living on crash diets. ✔ Move more throughout the day, l, not just during workouts. ✔ Prioritize sleep, because poor sleep can increase hunger and make it harder to regulate appetite. Here’s the part most people never hear: A “fast metabolism” isn’t just something you’re born with. It’s often the result of habits that support a body with more lean muscle, consistent movement, and adequate nutrition. Instead of asking, “How do I burn more calories?” Start asking, “How do I build a body that naturally uses more energy?” That shift in thinking changes everything. 👇 Let’s talk about it: What’s one thing you’ve always believed about metabolism that you’re not sure is actually true? Or, if you’ve successfully improved your metabolism through healthier habits, what made the biggest difference for you? Share your experience below, I know someone reading the comments will benefit from it.
