What did you do on your day off? 🙃
Yesterday was my day off, and I made it a day of intentional rest. With my work schedule being so unpredictable, I’ve learned to embrace the slower days instead of feeling guilty about them. Rest isn’t wasted time, it’s preparation. It also helps me reset mentally, physically, and even financially. 🤣🤭🙌🏾 I have a vacation coming up, so yesterday wasn’t about trying to do everything. It was about doing the right things. I meal prepped, got in a 20-minute walk on my walking pad, read, painted, listened to music, worked on puzzles, and organized my life. Every goal I set for the day got done. Here’s what I want you to remember: Preparation beats perfection. Most of us already know what our week looks like. Some days, you have time for a full workout. Other days, all you can manage is 20 minutes on the treadmill with an incline, and that’s okay. The goal isn’t to have the perfect day. The goal is to stay consistent with the day that’s in front of you. As I’m getting ready for Hawaii, we’re being intentional now so we can fully enjoy ourselves later. We’re still going to stay active on vacation, but we’re also going to enjoy the food and the experience without guilt because we’ve prepared for it. Don’t let yesterday’s mistakes or last month’s setbacks determine what you do today. The only thing you truly have control over is this moment. So let’s tighten up. Make a plan. Get organized. Do what you can with the time, energy, and resources you have today. Small, consistent actions add up to big results. Now tell me…what did you do on your day off to move yourself one step closer to your goals?

Rest is essential as we age 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 protecting our peace ✌🏼 and decompressing 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😘
July 9th… and just like that, we’re already entering the second half of the year.
Take a moment and really think about that. Six months ago, you were standing at the beginning of a new chapter. You had goals, hopes, prayers, plans, and maybe even doubts about what this year would bring. Now look at you. You’ve learned things you didn’t know. You’ve survived things you didn’t expect. You’ve grown in ways that may not always be visible to everyone else. Sometimes we get so focused on where we’re trying to go that we forget to acknowledge how far we’ve already come. Give yourself credit for the small wins. The discipline you built. The boundaries you created. The moments you chose yourself. The days you kept going even when it wasn’t easy. The year isn’t over. There is still time to create, improve, and become. So today’s question is: Who were you at the beginning of this year, and who are you becoming now? Take a moment to reflect. You might surprise yourself.

🌙 Sunday Night Reminder: The Holiday Is Over… Now Let’s Get Back to the Basics.
Whether you spent the last few days at a cookout, on vacation, relaxing with family, or simply taking a much-needed break, the holiday weekend has come and gone. The good news? You don’t need to wait until next week, next month, or “when things calm down” to get back on track. If Sunday wasn’t your meal prep day, let Monday be your reset day. Remember, wellness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being consistent enough to keep moving forward. One weekend, one vacation, or one holiday meal does not erase your progress. What matters most is what you choose to do next. As we move deeper into summer, remember this: the body you want this winter is being built right now. The habits you’re practicing today will determine how you feel, move, and look months from now. Summer bodies are celebrated, but winter bodies are created during the summer. This week, focus on the basics: ✅ Drink more water than you think you need. ✅ Get your steps in, even if it’s just a short walk. ✅ Prioritize protein and vegetables at most meals. ✅ Get adequate sleep whenever possible. ✅ Plan ahead instead of relying on willpower. Most importantly, give yourself grace while still holding yourself accountable. Your wellness journey isn’t just about losing weight or changing your appearance. It’s about learning your body, understanding your habits, building discipline, and creating a lifestyle that supports the life you want to live. You only get one body. Take care of it. Invest in it. Be patient with it. Let’s make this week count. Not because we need to be perfect, but because we’re committed to becoming better than we were last week. Now, who’s ready to reset and have a strong week?

What’s up, y’all!!! 😏💪🏾 Listen… 😌
This week has been a double whammy after an already busy week last week. Customers galore, sales have been strong, and work has been absolutely nonstop. Crazy busy, but productive in all the right ways. Ironically, today is supposed to be my off day, but here I am working anyway. Some of my customers are heading out on vacation next week, so I had to make some adjustments and fit them into my schedule. That’s just part of the game. Sometimes you have to do what needs to be done and make it happen. But here’s what I’m most proud of… Even with all the extra work, the driving, the long days, and the unexpected schedule changes, I’ve still been finding a way to prioritize my health. Last week, I got in one workout on my own. This week, I’ve already completed two workouts and plan to get my third one in today after I finish with my customers. Have I made it to the gym? Nope. But I have made it to my walking pad. I have used my body weight. I have worked with what I have available. And that’s the lesson. Too many people think fitness only counts if everything is perfect. The perfect gym. The perfect schedule. The perfect amount of time. The perfect energy. Life doesn’t work like that. Life is going to demand things from you. Work is going to get busy. Family is going to need you. Unexpected situations are going to pop up. The question isn’t whether life gets hectic. The question is: What are you going to do anyway? I’ve kept my nutrition on point. My portable blender bottle has been a lifesaver. Fruits, vegetables, protein, blend it up, and keep it moving. Is everything perfect? No. But consistency beats perfection every single time. I’ve lost a little muscle during this transition, but I’m still carrying more muscle than body fat, and I know exactly what I need to do moving forward. As a coach, I believe in leading by example. I know many of my clients work just as hard, if not harder, than I do. That’s why I never want to ask someone to do something I’m not willing to do myself.

🔥 HAPPY MASTERY MONDAY 🔥
How’s everyone doing this week? Quick check-in: Are you maintaining, progressing, or absolutely crushing your goals right now? Last week, I intentionally stepped away from most of my administrative work and social posting. Not a vacation, just a moment to reset, refocus, and pour energy back into the things that matter most. Sometimes the best thing you can do is pause, regroup, and come back with a clear mind. Now I’m tapping back in. 💪🏽 My personal check-in: I’m less than 30 days away from turning 40 and heading to Hawaii, so it’s officially go time! Last week I only got one workout in without clients (and we’re not going to dwell on that 😂), but this week I’m locking back in. The goal is simple: move my body, stay consistent, and finish this chapter feeling strong, healthy, and confident. Your turn: 👉 What’s ONE thing you’re committed to improving this week? It can be: • Drinking more water • Getting your workouts in • Hitting your protein goal • Walking daily • Prioritizing sleep • Simply getting back on track Remember, you don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep showing up. Drop your answer below, and if there’s anything you need from me this week, let me know. I’m here to help. Let’s make it a great week. 💜
