Why I started No Man Alone
When I was 17, my dad died. I didn’t know how to deal with it. Nobody around me really did either. So I did what a lot of men do: kept it in, kept going, and acted like I was fine. I wasn’t. Years later, I lost a friend to suicide. I still think about him. About the conversations we didn’t have, and how alone he must have felt while the people around him had no idea. That changed something in me. Since then I’ve sat with a lot of men in hard places. Friends. Friends of friends. Guys who reached out at 2am because they had no one else to call. Breakups, loss, money, feeling like they’d lost their way. Different stories, but the same thing underneath every time: they thought they had to carry it alone. They don’t. And neither do you. That’s what this place is for. Not a group where everyone pretends to have it figured out. A place where men can be honest about where they are, and build something that gets them moving again, with other men in it with them. If you’re here, something brought you here. Introduce yourself below. Tell us your name and one thing you’re carrying right now. You don’t have to have the words perfect. No man alone. If you’re in a dark place right now, have gone through something or want to help other guys get through what they are going through, this is place is for you.

Start here 👋 Welcome to No Man Alone
Welcome, brother. Over the years I've watched a lot of good men go through hell, and most of them did it in silence. They lost jobs, marriages ended, and some lost the sense of who they were. On the outside they still showed up, cracked jokes, and said "I'm fine." On the inside they were drowning. I've sat with a lot of those men. I've had the late-night calls and the conversations in the car that run for hours. Every time I saw the same thing: the moment a man stops carrying it alone, something shifts. And when he starts building something again, he starts coming back to life. That's why No Man Alone exists. It's a place where you don't have to pretend, and you don't have to figure it out on your own. How this works: - Weekly open call: say how your week really went. Cameras optional. - Daily check-in: answer one question a day. It takes 30 seconds and keeps you showing up. - Build Board: share what you're working on, big or small. Your first step: introduce yourself in the comments. Just three things: 1. Your first name 2. Where you're at right now (one line is enough) 3. One thing you'd like to change Nobody here is judging. Every man reading this has had a hard stretch. One more thing: this is a peer community, not a crisis service. If you're struggling to stay safe, call Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7) or 999. You made it this far. Now let's build. No man alone.
