Who here is really good at doing webinars/leading calls in communitys? 🤔

@Jenna Ostrye and I tried out something new today. A daily live show for her community. During the live we did a segment that will become her youtube videos. I will just simply cut that bit out and post it for her. In future lives, we might even record 2 or 3 youtube videos. This is gonna let her get content out much easier and faster by us just doing it live. It will also help out the engagement in her community because people can ask questions in the dedicated Skool post for the live. It was a lot of fun, I will post the next live link in here tommorrow also, if yall want to jump in on the action. Should be around 8:30 am central.

The first episode of The Online Community Show is officially out. This podcast is focused on real conversations about online communities, community building, trust, traffic, and connection. Not just the biggest success stories, but the full range of experiences from people who are actively building communities right now. @Jenna Ostrye and I ended our original podcast over a year ago and this is the reincarnation of it. This is the intro. We have several interviews already recorded and ready to show yall. Some really interesting conversations and valuable info to come!

Happy Sunday! I just wanted to make a quick video talking about how making content, jumping on live calls and doing podcasts actually HELPED my social anxiety. Exposure therapy I guess? 😆 Hope yall have a good rest of your weekend!

I'm not saying to do engagement farming or self-promo spam, because it's obvious when someone has the wrong intentions. I AM saying to start having real conversations. Jump into other communities' live calls, write well-thought-out replies, and be the kind of community member you wish you had. So many good things can come from just rubbing elbows with other Skoolers. Things like podcast guesting opportunities, getting to lead a call for another community, or collaborating on posts...all kinds of magical things can open up for you when you start having real conversations. I've been on this platform for over two years and have had countless talks with other community owners. And I realized working alongside successful people raises your chances of success exponentially. I'm not saying Skool should be your main traffic source, but you are leaving a lot on the table if you aren't out there talking to other Skoolers. (but for the love, don't do it with self promo in mind) Who has jumped in a live call for a community that isn't your own this week?
