A little quieter
I've been a little quieter than usual over the last few days because I've been focused on working behind the scenes rather than posting. One thing that's really stood out to me is that consistency isn't just about showing up every day—it's about making sure what you share has value. So here's something that's helped me this week..." It's ok to take a moment to unplug, refocus and recharge your battery's. Don't ever feel you need to apologise for taking these moments. As they say on a aeroplane, you can't help others if you don't put your own safety mask on first. So..... Tell me what your win or reflection has been over over the last few days? Perhaps its: - A lesson you've learned over the past few days. - Something you've been working on behind the scenes. - A question to spark discussion. - A win (even a small one) or a challenge you've overcome. - A useful tip, resource, or insight that would help the group. Or something else. No win or reflection is ever too big or small. They all matter.

Remember healing starts with grounding
Sometimes the hardest part isn't just what happened. It's what happens afterwards. When you've been through trauma and then been let down by the very people or systems that were meant to help, it's not uncommon for those closest to you to begin pulling away too. Questions appear. Silence grows. You may even start wondering whether people believe your story at all. When that happens, trauma has a way of making us question everything—including ourselves. This is where grounding becomes so important. Instead of trying to untangle every thought, gently come back to what you know to be true. ✨ What did I experience? ✨ What facts do I know? ✨ What evidence do I have? ✨ What am I adding because fear has convinced me to expect the worst? Returning to what is real doesn't erase the pain. But it helps stop trauma from rewriting your reality. One gentle step back to the facts can sometimes be enough to steady your nervous system and remind yourself that your experience matters. Have you ever found yourself questioning your own reality after being let down? 💜 You're welcome to share your thoughts below if it feels safe to do so. Have a beautiful day. Have a beautiful weekend and remember to take some time for self care if only five minutes.

I used to never ground myself and now I make a conscious effort to make this my practice with so many things: being around a lot of energy, certain events, sometimes even objects that can contain a lot of energy. It all started with noticing where there is heavy energy and then grounding according to what I am feeling. Thank you for this gentle reminder 😍
Some Friday Fun
Happy Friday everyone. Whatever your doing today and over the weekend, I hope you are taking good care and most importantly having some fun. (And if you feel called, share your favourite giff or silly giff with us).

Simply pause
Sometimes we spend so much time trying to fix things that we forget to simply pause. Today, someone shared a music video with me that made me stop what I was doing for a few minutes and just appreciate it. No analysing. No problem solving. No trying to be productive. Just enjoying a good song. If life feels heavy right now, maybe your nervous system doesn't need another task today. Maybe it needs a few minutes to listen to a song you love, sit in the sunshine, watch the rain, cuddle a pet, make a coffee, or simply take a breath. Small moments of peace matter too. What's one song you never get tired of listening to? 🎵 Put it on and allow yourself to enjoy the moment. 💜

Rest and reset
When life feels overwhelming, what helps you reset and recharge? ☕ Tea or coffee 🚶 A walk 🎵 Music 📖 Reading 😴 A nap 🐱 Time with pets Or something completely different? I'd love to hear what helps you get through difficult days. 💜 There is no pressure to share 💜 Remember to rest and reset when needed 💙
