Anthropic dropped a new model today and I want to make sure you actually know what changed. Claude Fable 5 launched this morning. It sits in a brand new tier above Opus called Mythos-class. The first Mythos model, Claude Mythos Preview, was so powerful Anthropic never released it to the public. They gave it to a small group of vetted cybersecurity partners only, under a program called Project Glasswing. Fable 5 is the same engine with safety guardrails built in. That is the only reason we can use it. Those guardrails are not marketing. Anthropic ran over 1,000 hours of external red-teaming before launch trying to break them. Nobody found a universal bypass. The model watches every request in real time and quietly routes anything touching cybersecurity, dangerous chemistry, or biology research to Opus instead. Most of us here will rarely notice it. What you will notice is what it can do. The big, complex, multi-step jobs that normally get pushed to next week. Turning a full webinar into a month of content. Building a course module from scattered notes. Reading a long document and pulling out only what matters. One heads up: it keeps your prompts for 30 days for safety monitoring. No other Claude model does this. Not used for training, deleted after 30 days, but worth knowing before you paste anything sensitive. Free Quick Reference Card is below. Full prompts and workflows are inside Claude HQ. And use it before June 22. It is free inside your paid plan until then. After that it moves to credits.
