Monday Evening Mood โœจ๏ธ
Repeat after me: "Progress over perfection. I can always begin again. Even tonight, even now." Its never too late to take a pause and slow down.. If you didnโ€™t get a pause in today, try a few slow breaths before bed tonight. Let it be your gentle wind-down ritualโ€”just 4 counts in, 4 counts out, and let your system soften for the evening...

Last night, I tried an experiment, I didnโ€™t think about controlling my breath. My fight or flight went off last night so to try to shake it off, I held two handfuls of ice for as long as I could. (I saw somewhere online that if you can hold ice in your hands for 45 seconds, it will reset your vagus nerve and turn off the fight or flight mode.) I made it like 20 seconds and it was so brutal. I think I ended up holding my breath. I think something like box breathing would help in type situations. But nonetheless, it helped me out tremendously.
